Ideaman is a minor antagonist in the manga series Kinnikuman.
Biography[]
Past[]
Ideaman was once one of the many Choshin that resided within the Celestial Plane amongst all of the other Gods including The One, The Man and the Five Evil Gods. Ideaman, much like all of the Choshin, created the Chojin in order for them to grow in power and one of them eventually ascended to the position of the empty seat of Choshin.
After millions of years of waiting, the Chojin had proved to be unworthy to all of the Choshin aside from The Man and Five Evil Gods, so the Choshin would use their Capillaria Rays to erase most of the Chojin, the only ones surviving being the one's saved by the Unforgivable Yggdrasil and the Perfect Origin.
The Choshin would wait for The Man and the Five Evil Gods would allow the surviving Chojin to live and wait for The Man to train the Perfect Origin into potential Choshin.
Millions of years later, an Apollo Window, a giant keyhole in the ground, would appear in the Celestial Plane, because of the total amount of power in the universe running out since all of the Chojin in the Mortal Plane continued to grow in strength, and the Choshin knew that it had the potential to absorb and destroy everything.
Most of the Choshin chose to ignore it, viewing themselves as strong and wise enough to deal with the Apollo Window when it becomes a problem, however, The One knew the threat it possessed. Soon after the Apollo Window emerged the God of Time would descend and make Time Chojin, speeding up the activation of the Apollo Window.
Kinnikuman (2011)[]
Sometime after The Man was defeated by Akuma Shogun and all of the Perfect Origin had been killed, the Apollow Window would start to destroy the Celestial Plane with all the Choshin making sure that it only appeared in the Celestial Plane and not the Mortal Plane.
Ideaman, alongside ten other Choshin led by The One, would descend down to the Mortal Plane in order to test the Chojin to see if they were worthy enough to become Gods and save the universe from the Apollo Window.
Ideaman descended down to the Roman Coliseum alongside his tag team partner The Notorious, forming the tag team The Mighty Hercules before challenging both Kinnikuman Super Phoenix and Kinnikuman Big Body to a tag team match.
While wearing his cape, Ideaman would battle against Big Body, managing to overpower him before he switches with Super Phoenix. At this point, Ideaman throws off his cape and reveals his name because Super Phoenix is the chosen fighter for the God of Intelligence who is Ideaman's friend. Super Phoenix says that he's only working with the God of Intelligence to save the world and that the two being friends means nothing to him.
Super Phoenix puts Ideaman into a submission hold, however, Ideaman breaks out of it by leaping up into the air and has The Notorious to get him off of Ideaman and the two perform a suplex on Super Phoenix. When Big Body runs in to help Super Phoenix, The Notorious throws Super Phoenix at him before he and Ideaman stand together and say that they're the best tag team out of all of the Choshin.
Right after this, The One would ride down on his bird to watch the fight with Ideaman apologising that he and The Notorious took this fight without discussing it with The One. Ideaman states that the chosen fighters of the God of Intelligence and the God of Strength might be a good tag team but that they will never beat them.
Ideaman would step back and let The Notorious beat up Super Phoenix and Big Body, the latter of which is trapped by the ropes of the ring before The Notorious drills toward Big Body's head with Ideaman leaping onto him and pushing The Notorious so he spins faster and slashes Big Body's head, clawing open the side of his helmet.
When Super Phoenix ran in to help Big Body, Ideaman delivered a kick to his head as The Notorious did the same to Big Body. Ideaman then goes on about how the bloody fight that the four of them were having in the Roman Coliseum is a tribute to the gods as it should be.
After Big Body and Super Phoenix finished talking to Kinnikuman, Big Body performed a double lariat on both Ideaman and The Notorious which didn't damage either of them as they both kicked Big Body in the head, splitting the cut in his mask wider. Ideaman then steps to the side of the ring, watching The Notorious use his fangs to suplex Ideaman to the ground before getting tagged in, at which point, Ideaman leaps onto Big Body and puts him into a submission hold but Big Body escapes by kicking Ideaman in his head.
To counter this, Ideaman would have The Notorious leap onto his arm and perform a lariat with The Notorious slashing Big Body's head again and then did the same to Super Phoenix when he tried to tag Big Body. After Big Body and Super Phoenix got into a fight, Ideaman would keep using The Notorious to repeatedly slash Big Body until he kicked The Notorious off of his arm and suplex him with Super Phoenix helping him.
Both Ideaman and The Notorious tried to body slam Super Phoenix and Big Body, however, they caught the two Choshin and slammed them against each other. Ideaman would get back up and wrap his arms around both Big Body and Super Phoenix's heads and perform a double DDT with The Notorious adding his weight to make it deal more damage.
The Notorious and Ideaman thought that Super Phoenix and Big Body were dead, saying that it was their own fault, however, the two got back up to continue the fight. Ideaman tackled Big Body before kicking Super Phoenix in the face and started to punch Super Phoenix but he blocks it with the Niku Curtain until Ideaman elbowed the top of Super Phoenix's head but Big Body tackled him before Ideaman could continue attacking Super Phoenix. When Big Body tagged in Super Phoenix, Ideaman would do the same with The Notorious.
Ideaman would watch The Notorious stab and slash Super Phoenix with his claws and teeth until The Notorious left Super Phoenix bleeding out on the floor and was tagged in. Ideaman was ready to finish off Super Phoenix, however, he got back up and performed the Muscle Revenger on Ideaman. He gets slammed head-first on the corner post of the ring, however, Ideaman used his Hardness Level 10: Diamond Body to negate the force of the attack, only receiving a slight head injury.
The Notorious would chastise Ideaman for taking damage because he had been messing around in the fight. Ideaman then tries to use The Notorious on his arm to slash Super Phoenix, however, the Muscle Revenger slightly damaged Ideaman's ear which makes him disoriented so Super Phoenix gets the chance to slam him to the ground.
While Ideaman is recovering, The Notorious bites into Super Phoenix but Big Body tackles him off. As soon as Ideaman recovered, he asked The Notorious to switch with him, however, The Notorious refuses to do so, thinking that Ideaman has been messing around too much.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Choshin Body Creation: While in the Celestial Realm, the Choshin are formless and can't physically interact with the Mortal Plane. In order to do so, they need to form special Choshin Bodies in order to descend upon the Mortal Plane. These bodies are slightly weaker than their formless spirits but the power difference is so minor that it wouldn't matter to most Chojin who have far less power than the bodies of the Choshin.
- Choshin Physiology: Choshin are the utmost of what a Chojin can be, having almost godly strength, speed and durability above all others. Additionally, due to being literal Gods, they do not age at all and they possess the ability to fly. Another ability that Choshin should have is the ability to grow to be as large as a building.
- Capillaria Ray Immunity: The Choshin all have a protective aura around their body that protects them from the negative effects of the Capillaria Rays, much like the Earth's atmosphere protects the Earth from cosmic radiation and intense heat. This aura can be broken if enough damage is dealt to them.
- Hardness Level 10: Diamond Body: With Hardness Level 10: Diamond Body, Ideaman can make his body as durable as a diamond, vastly increasing his durability. So far, Ideaman has only used this ability on his head to protect it from attacks.
