“ | Oh, insolent one who has brought the unthinkable into a land as dark as Ikana... My servants have fallen namelessly before the light that guides you. However... The darkness in which my servants live is, after all, fleeting. You shall see with your own eyes... just what kind of thing true darkness really is. | „ |

Biography[]
Backstory[]
Before the events of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Igos du Ikana was the king of the Ikana Kingdom. Later, a war broke between Ikana and the Garo, and Igos du Ikana, along with his servants, were killed in the battle. Igos, now an undead spirit, sits in his throne room.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask[]
Once Link enters Igos du Ikana's room, the latter reveals himself, ready to kill Link. Igos orders his lackeys to fight Link. While fighting the lackeys, if Link goes near Igos, the latter will attack the former, sending the former flying back. Link shoots the curtains, making light shine into the room, much to the shock of Igos. Link defeats the lackeys by reflecting light with the mirror shield onto their fallen bodies.
Once the lackeys are defeated, Igos du Ikana fights link himself. Igos does more damage than his lackeys, and the trick using Bremen Mask song to distract the lackeys doesn't work on Igos. In addition, Igos can detach his head from his body and start chasing Link, trying to catch him while his body tries to strike him, as well as being able to breathe purple flames out of his mouth. If Igos du Ikana's head catches Link and attaches to his face, his body will strike him with his sword, dealing a lot of damage. Once Link attacks Igos using light and the mirror shield at Igos' fallen body, Igos is defeated.
The king's lackeys then start arguing with each other because they weren't able to stop Link. Igos then stops the argument. Igos redeems himself and reveals the cause of the curse of Ikana Canyon, and teaches Link the Elegy of Emptiness, and Link leaves.
In the credits, after the defeat of Majora, Igos is seen singing in his throne room.
Trivia[]
- If Link wears the Captain's Hat mask and goes up to Igos, he thinks Link is Captain Keeta, but soon realizes it's a mask, unlike other Stalchildren.
