Igua Doggler was the iguana-themed Earth Imperial Beast of the Underground Empire Tube under Commander Baraba and the minor antagonist in Hikari Sentai Maskman, serving as the main antagonist of the 1st episode and a minor antagonist in the 2nd.

Biography

Igua Doggler is created by the Tube leaders as a combination of two monsters revived by the Tube: the first being a reptile-like monster and the second an alien-like humanoid form, both of which are able to combine into one more significant and powerful monster. While Igua dragged Mio (who is secretly Princess Lal and an ally of the Maskmen) back to Tube on the orders of the Tube leaders, his Doggler half aides General Baraba in his quest and plan of invasion and attacking the surface world. Doggler's other half arrives to rejoin the villain when the Maskmen try to stop Tube's initial invasion and attempt to enslave the Earth. The Maskmen arrive and fight Baraba and his minions. After taking down the Tube's footsoldiers, the Maskmen fight the Beast and Takeru mortally wounds Igua Doggler before the Maskmen's Shot Bomber is used to kill him. Left for dead on the surface realm, Igua Doggler is revived by the Tube commanders as a giant where he tries to trample the Maskmen but Takeru arrives with the Maskmen's vehicles in the Turboranger to aid his friends in the battle.

Despite the multi-coloured heroes initially taking a beating from Igua Doggler, they manage to kill Iguana Doggler with Great Five's Photon Electron Riser, stopping the very first Tube's invasion and angering Baraba, who tells his masters about the failed attempt. The Tube are angered and swear to get revenge on the Maskmen for foiling their invasion conquest plan.

Yusuke of the Livemen recalls Igua Doggler to Gaku Woshio of the Gaorangers during a speech about the past fights that other Sentai have had after Lost Highness Duke Rakushaasa makes him lose hope.
