Ihyun Jo is a recurring antagonist in the webcomic Sweet Home. He is a bipolar criminal who is a part of Joon Shin's gang. He was able to become a half-monster due to his split personality.
Biography[]
Ihyun is a criminal who arrested for unknown reasons. Once the monster outbreak created by One started, him and his group escaped and reached a church, where it's heavily implied they killed everybody there. The group continued their travel and only survived thanks to Ihyun's monster abilities, which he used to kill the Protein Monster.
Personality[]
Ihyun has a split personality that acts very unpredictably. For the most part, Ihyun is kind, loyal and friendly. Upon meeting Hyun's group, he offers an asthmatic girl an inhaler. He is also cowardly and socially awkward, causing the criminals to view him as somewhat stupid.
When angered, however, Ihyun's personality switches to much more violent and cruel, with no in-between. He is arrogant, selfish and views himself as superior to humans in the state. He views himself as a dark hero and enjoys mutilating the monsters even after their death. He can only revert back when he is beaten or begged by Joon.
Ihyun's personalities can also interact with eac hother as shown in his fight with the Bat Monster. They hold no malice towards each other and even work together, having nice Ihyun take control to lower the monster's guard. They also remember what happened while the other was in control.
Powers and Abilities[]
Ihyun is one of the few humans who has their monster power under control. He can turn his arm into a powerful tentacle, which he can manipulate freely.
