Il Toso is the protagonist of the Italian miniseries Faccia D'Angelo.
He is the leader of a gang that really existed and manages it with his excellent skills.
He is played by Elio Germano who also played Arnaldo.
Biography[]
As a child he had obtained a scholarship for literature and linguistic sciences, however, apart from his mother, his father who was old-fashioned and with an old-fashioned character had told his son that he would never become rich and would remain poor and that the scholarship was just a lie of the rich, shortly after he showed his son a pustule with which they shot.
November 14, 1985: a 300 kg gold heist at the Marco Polo airport in Venice is attributed to Toso and his gang. Inspector Ricci begins to investigate.
In 1974, the young Toso begins with kidnappings and robberies, becoming rich. He allies himself with the boss Arsenale to manage a gambling den in Padua.
In 1981, after leaving his family, Toso takes control of a network of money changers and kills Arsenale. His gang grows and, after the death of his wife Grazia, becomes increasingly powerful, supported by the local population.
