Ilona Petrovna is a minor antagonist in the second season of HBO's The Wire. She is a madam who runs a brothel for The Greek.
She is portrayed by Gordana Rashovich, who also portrayed Anya Ragova in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Biography[]
Ilona Petrovna is arrested in a sting operation on her brothel after Jimmy McNulty infiltrates it, pretending to be a client. She refuses to give any information in interrogation. After being released on bail, her car is tracked by the Major Crimes Unit in an effort to gather intelligence on The Greek's smuggling operation. Presumably, she is sentenced to prison off-screen.
