Inazuma Ginga, nicknamed the "Galactic Invincible Electric Man" is a space pirate being sought after by the Galactic Union Police, the former partner of Amazon Killer and a major antagonist in Taiyou Sentai Sun Vulcan.
He is voiced by the late Takeshi Watabe who previously voiced Poison Fang Mask, Silver Heat Mask and Warship Mask in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, Buffalo Monster, Doguu Monster, Dinosaur Monster, Ancient Fish Monster and Hyde Monster in Battle Fever J, Sea Snake Monger and Hungry Monger also in Sun Vulcan and later voiced most of the Synthetic Beasts in Dai Sentai Google V, Emperor Aton in Kagaku Sentai Dynaman, Gyodai in Dengeki Sentai Changeman, Earthquake Brain and Space Brain in Choujuu Sentai Liveman, Lagorn in Kousoku Sentai Turboranger, the elder Shuten Douji Brothers in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, UU Uurin and Bara Mobile in Gekisou Sentai Carranger, Pig Nezire in Denji Sentai Megaranger and Destruction King Battobas in Seijuu Sentai Gingaman. Outside of Super Sentai, he is best known as as Baramos in Dragon Quest III, Byakko in Yu Yu Hakusho, Shadow Knight in Kikaider 01, Sand Banbara and Oil Banbara in Inazuman, the Creation King in Kamen Rider BLACK, Waruder in Kikaider 01 and Don Horror, God Neros and Emperor Gaohm in the Metal Heroes franchise.

Past[]
Prior to arriving on Earth, Inazuma was Amazon Killer's partner in crime, working alongside her to commit crimes and outwit the Galactic Union Police. However, their alliance fractured after Inazuma Ginga stole all the jewels from one theft and Amazon Killer abandoned him in a hotel when the Galactic Police closed in.
Sun Vulcan[]
In 1981, Inazuma later comes to Earth seeking to recreate his partnership with Amazon Killer but she is wary of allying with him again. However, Inazuma manages to impress Führer Hell Saturn into recruiting him by defeating the Sun Vulcan and destroying their Vulcan Ball. After Sun Vulcan unearth Black Magma's plans to sabotage a UN satellite, Inazuma is the one who takes the blame and ends up imprisoned. In order to prove himself, Inazuma creates his own Monger to fight the Sun Vulcan, Fighter Monger. The two later overpower Sun Vulcan, prompting Hell Saturn to promote Inazuma Ginga to his second-in-command.
Hell Saturn later sends out Inazuma to fight Sun Vulcan again and he attempts to deflect Sun Vulcan's New Vulcan Ball with his shield but Sun Vulcan use a delayed version of the New Vulcan Ball to outlast his shield and defeat him. Returning to Iron Claw Castle, Inazuma discovers Hell Saturn tampered with Fighter Monger while he was away and challenges him to a duel. After a lengthy fight, Inazuma defeats and kills Hell Saturn, allowing Queen Hedrian to declare herself ruler of the Black Magma.
After Queen Hedrian's death, Amazon Killer becomes Queen of Black Magma and plans to sacrifice Misa but Inazuma Ginga betrays her; planning to use her as a hostage to get Jaguar Vulcan and use it to conquer Earth and the galaxy. When Black Magma object, he prepares to destroy them only to be blasted by the Machine Empire's true ruler; the Omnipotent God. Hell Saturn then returns as a phantom and tosses Inazuma into Black Magma's Monger-making machine as revenge, transforming Inazuma into Lightning Monger. Lightning Monger goes out to fight the Sun Vulcan and proves to be a much easier opponent than Inazuma was, being defeated easily.
Personality[]
Inaguma Ginga is a violent, sadistic, treacherous and extremely arrogant criminal with no qualms about killing dozens of people if it benefits him. As evidenced by his actions and referring to himself with the prefix "oresama", Inazuma Ginga is also incredibly vain and narcissistic; believing himself truly undefeatable to the point of being careless. However, he was intensely loyal and protective towards Fighting Monger to the point of fighting Hell Saturn to the death after Queen Hedrian and Amazon Killer made the Führer sabotage the Monger. Ultimately, it was his own thirst for power and treachery that was his downfall as it was both his murder of Hell Saturn and his intent to steal Misa for his own plans that led to the Omnipotent God having him turned into Lightning Monger.
As Lightning Monger, Inazuma Ginga retains the same arrogance and overconfidence as before but is little more than a pawn with no free will of his own.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Power: Although he only joined the Machine Empire Black Magma near the end of the series, Inazuma Ginga is the second most powerful villain in the series; stronger than Führer Hell Saturn, the Zero Girls, Queen Hedrian, Amazon Killer or any Monger. He quickly overpowered and killed Hell Saturn and was only surpassed in power by the Omnipotent God.
- Strength: Inazuma Ginga can pick up and throw soldiers with enough force to instantly kill them as well as catch and throw down Asao and Kin'ya during their Rolling Panther and Shark Typhoon attacks.
- Durability: Inazuma Ginga was struck by Takayuki's Eagle Diving but unfazed.
- Bulletproof: Inazuma Ginga is completely immune to gunfire as even machine gun rounds bounce harmlessly off of him.
- Agility: Inazuma Ginga is extremely agile, being able to flip straight over Sun Vulcan as they charged him.
- Hand to Hand Combat: Inazuma Ginga is a very skilled hand to hand combatant, being able to overwhelm and defeat all three members of Sun Vulcan with his bare hands.
- Swordsmanship: Inazuma Ginga is a very skilled swordsman, being able to defeat even the skilled swordsman Takayuki Hiba by himself.
- Teleportation: Inazuma Ginga can teleport to any location by covering himself in blue energy and shrinking into himself.
- Inazuma Beams: Inazuma Ginga's signature attack where he fires powerful blue lightning from his eyes. These could kill multiple people, destroy weapons and stun all three members of Sun Vulcan with a single hit.
- Inazuma Barrier: Inazuma Ginga can generate a powerful sparkly barrier over himself and others that is completely impenetrable, deflecting even the New Vulcan Ball.
- Cannon Blasts: Inazuma Ginga can open panels in his shoulders, revealing two powerful cannons to fire devastating energy blasts although these were never used.
- Andromeda Bomb: Inazuma Ginga's most powerful attack where he opened a panel in his gut to reveal a cannon from which he would fire a devastating white energy blast. This was strong enough to cause large explosions around Sun Vulcan and kill Führer Hell Saturn with a single hit.

- Sword and Shield: Inazuma Ginga's main weapons in combat are a katana and large iron shield with the latter being strong enough to withstand both the Vulcan Stick Triple Strike and Takayuki's Hiba Return.
- Super Thunder: Inazuma Ginga could point his sword into the air and shoot blue lightning from the tip to generate a white storm cloud that would rain down lightning on his enemies.
- Pistols: Being wild west-themed outlaw, Inazuma Ginga often dual wields revolvers capable of causing large explosions with single rounds.

- Inazuma Ginga was sought by the Galactic Union Police is the same organization that Space Sheriff Gavan works for in the series of the same name. Shozo Uehara, the main writer of Sun Vulcan and all the previous Sentai shows, left Sentai after Sun Vulcan to become the main writer of Gavan, which aired a month after Sun Vulcan ended.
