The Incarnation Ninjas, also known as Monster Ninjas, are ninja warriors of the Blood Wheel Clan who have assumed monstrous forms using the "Henshin Jutsu" and antagonists in Henshin Ninja Arashi.
They are each based off a different animal. They are created by undergoing a remodeling procedure (similar to what is used to create Shocker Kaijin in Kamen Rider), which grants them specialized powers depending on the animal they are derived from.
History[]
The "Henshin Jutsu" was originally developed by Kiju of the Valley, who intended for it be used for peaceful purposes. However, his clan leader, Devil Sai, saw the potential of the technique to be used for warfare and began using it to create an army of Incarnation Ninjas to take over Japan with.
The first Incarnation Ninja to attack was Poison Moray Eel, who was brought by Gaikotsumaru to a village to test out his dissolving acid by spraying it on a group of civilians. During the attack, Kiju of the Valley showed up to stop them along with his son Hayate, angry that his transformation ninjitsu was being used to harm others. After Kiju and Hayate fought off some Blood Wheel goons, Gaikotsumaru decided to retreat for the time being now that they had gotten a taste of Poison Moray Eel's power.
Poison Moray Eel later attacked Kasumi and Tsumuji as they were going with their father Tatsumaki to regroup with the other Iga ninjas and plot a counterattack on the Blood Wheel Clan. As Poison Moray Eel and his low-level ninjas had them cornered, however, a mysterious Henshin Ninja appeared to face off against Poison Moray Eel. Introducing himself as Arashi, the new Henshin Ninja - in reality Kiju's son Hayate - fought off the Incarnation Ninja and helped Kasumi and Tatsumaki to escape.
After the Blood Wheel Clan decided to take action against Kiju of the Valley's treachery, Poison Moray Eel went with Gaikotsumaru to execute Kiju. The Incarnation Ninja and his grunts eventually cornered a wounded Kiju as he was with Kasumi and Tsumuji, but before he could kill them all Arashi suddenly appeared and fought off Poison Moray Eel and his men. Facing Arashi in one-to-one combat, Poison Moray Eel was felled by Arashi after being sliced with his blade, causing his body to dissolve.
Some time after, the Incarnation Ninja Mashira engaged on a spree of kidnappings in a village. Whenever the crest of the Blood Wheel Clan would appear on the front of somebody's house, Mashira would come and abduct that person. Mashira would take them to the construction site of the Blood Wheel Clan's newest "Skull Lair", where the person would be put to work building it. Eventually, Hayate and his allies came to the village to investigate and discovered what Mashira was doing. Mashira and a group of Blood Wheel Ninjas skirmished with Hayate and the Iga Ninjas, but while Hayate was able to fight them off, Tatsumaki and his son Tsumuji were captured.
The residents Mashira had abducted were later mysteriously returned. However, after Kasumi discovered the body of one of the people who had supposedly been returned floating down the river, it turned out that Mashira had actually disguised himself as that person in order to get close to Hayate so he could kill him. Kasumi tried to warn Hayate, but was kidnapped by Blood Wheel Ninjas before she could do so. The disguised Mashira later tried to kill Hayate by feeding him poisoned tea, but Hayate saw through it thanks to his enchanted sword and unmasked Mashira's disguise and became Arashi to fight the Incarnation Ninja. Mashira initially had the advantage due to his durability, but after discovering Mashira's weakness was his eyes Arashi was able to decisively defeat the monster ninja and go on to save Tatsumaki, Kasumi and Tsumuji from the Blood Wheel Clan's base.
