Inertia is a twisted clone of Bart Allen from the future. He is a supervillain in DC Comics and serves as an antagonist to Bart Allen and his allies. Inertia is not only Impulse's clone but also his arch-enemy, serving as a counterpart to the Reverse-Flash.
Inertia was a clone of Bart from the future and had committed terrible crimes before the Flashpoint. However, he was lost in the Speed Force after the timeline shift occurred. Similar to Cobalt Blue, who was an evil version of his brother, Inertia was designed to be a twisted version of Bart. Eobard Thawne struck a deal with Inertia, offering to help him take over Bart Allen's body and pose as the new Kid Flash, in exchange for his assistance in stopping Barry Allen once he was trapped inside the Speed Force after Eobard had taken over his body to become the Flash.
As planned, Inertia suddenly attacked Barry while he was trapped. However, Barry chose not to fight back, seeing Inertia as a troubled child. He told Inertia that he didn't have to follow in Thawne's footsteps and that he could forge his own path. In response, Thaddeus (Inertia) decided to leave, wishing Barry luck in his fight against the Legion of Zoom. He mentioned that if they were not on different vibrational frequencies, he would join them in fighting the Flash Family.
Personality[]
Inertia strongly believes that he is superior to Bart in every way and desires to replace him. He grew jealous of Bart, witnessed the depth of the relationship between Bart and Max, and realized the bitterness and emptiness of his own life, which was fueled solely by a century-long family feud.

Localized Chronokinesis:The ability to manipulate time relative to himself. Unlike other speedsters who rely on the Speed Force, Inertia can slow down time around him, making him appear faster than even the fastest Flashes. This grants him advantages such as avoiding friction and sensory issues at high speeds. However, he cannot become intangible like other speedsters. Instead, he can accelerate the vibrations of objects or individuals to make them explode. He can also push others backward in their own timelines, effectively stealing their personal time. Inertia's unique temporal manipulation powers allow him to move at incredible speeds and manipulate the fabric of time.
Abilities[]
Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic):Inertia is not a martial arts expert, but he is skilled in self-defense. In their battles, Inertia proved to be a hard opponent for Wally West, causing him significant trouble.
