InfectoByters are a hostile species appearing as major antagonists in the comics from the 2018 issues of the LEGO Nexo Knights magazine and the final antagonists of the franchise as a whole. They are an ancient race of vampires that was resurrected by Monstrox in order to carry out his plans to destroy the kingdom.

Past[]
InfectoByters were once vampires that plagued Knighton in the distant past. Eventually, they all died out for some reason, and their bodies were kept in a museum.
LEGO Nexo Knights comics[]
In the present, Monstrox's forces broke into the museum, bringing the vampires back to life to serve the digitized arch-necromancer, who once again planned to destroy the kingdom. Now dubbed the InfectoByters, the vampires spread infection both through use of critters and by biting anything mechanical. Once all of Knighton but its capital of Knightonia was under their control, the final battle between them and the Nexo Knights broke out. A great number of Byters was killed by the Merlok Power summoned by the heroes. Later, when Clay fought Monstrox in the cyberspace, the latter summoned several InfectoByters to assist him in battle. It's unknown whether all InfectoByters were killed by the time Clay defeated Monstrox.
Trivia[]
- The species as a whole is referred to as "InfectoByters" only by the magazine, as the official set descriptions only use this termin to name regular soldiers of the vampire army, while the series' producer Tommy Andreasen calls the species "CyberBiters" instead, implying that this was originally meant to be their name.
