The Infershia Pantheon, also known as the Pantheon of Hell and the Hades Gods of the Infershia are the final set of antagonists in the last stage of Mahou Sentai Magiranger, serving as the main antagonistic faction of the fourth and final quarter of the season. They were the pantheon of the ten giant demonic underworld deities and N Ma's most powerful and loyal servants.
They were divided on the three tiers, with the highest tier were the most powerful Ultimate Gods, while the middle tier were the Wise Gods, and the lowest level were the Warrior Gods.
Biography[]
Past[]
The origins of the pantheon are unknown, but they were likely created by N Ma thousands years before the events of the series, during the first magical war between Infershia and Magitopia. They were slumbering in their Sacred Chamber for millenias, awaiting for the return of their god and overlord N Ma, in order to help him with his intentions of taking over the Earth and consuming all good magic in the universe.
Magiranger[]
The first indications of the gods were given by Meemy, who was destroyed during the duel with Hikaru and the evil undead sorcerer warned his archenemy of the Hades Gods's arrival, which would begin after his death. After their master was killed, the Hades Gods were revived and set their goals of punishing the magicians, who defeated the Absolute God, and all of human race as well. The deities were in a deep slumber within the depths of the Kedomono Realm in the Valley of the Gods, until Nai & Mea found their lair with the Book of Prophecy. Pantheon was reawakened and they were wrathful on Vancuria for trespassing. The gods ended up almost killing the vampire queen for entering their "sacred domain", but fortunately Wyvern interfered and offered his comrades to make the vampire queen their spy. The deities first appeared on the surface and announced their plans to the people of Tokyo, while also easily defeating the Magirangers, when siblings tried to interfere with their MagiLegend Robo. At first the protagonists wanted to fight them, but Sungel stopped the siblings and revealed to his young apprentices that should the Magirangers defy the Hades Gods, the wizards would ensure the eventual destruction of both surface and heavenly worlds, because the Hades Gods's deaths served in fact as an alternate purpose in ensuring N Ma's resurrection.
The Hades Pantheon all had one goal throughout the series; to bring the Divine Punishment (神罰, Shinbatsu') upon humankind. However, while enforcing this plan, they were forced to follow a self-made code of conduct called the Dark Precepts, by using the Slab of Judgement to pick the chosen God to execute Divine Punishment with a Dark Aurora heralding their arrival to the surface, assuming a human-size form to carry out the punishment.
Throughout the season, all of the Hades Gods were destroyed by the Magirangers and their overlord Absolute God, was defeated and destroyed as well. The only member of the Pantheon who survived was Sphinx, who made peace with Magirangers and ruled Infershia, while ruling it fairly and without tyranny towards humans.
