Infestor is the main antagonist of The Secret Life of Pets' short film, Super Gidget. He is an evil flea who wants to give dogs a really bad itch. He is also the archenemy of Max and the short film's titular character.
He was voiced by the late Gilbert Gottfried, who also voiced Dr. Bender and his son, Wendell, in the first three seasons of The Fairly OddParents, Fred Fuchs in Angry Video Game Nerd, Iago in Disney's Aladdin franchise, David Doubldy in Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match, Berkeley Beetle in Thumbelina, and Digit in the first 13 seasons of Cyberchase.
Biography[]
Infestor is first seen giving Max a really bad itch. At that moment, Super Gidget arrives to save Max and stop Infestor. But when Max ends up being mind-controlled by Infestor, Super Gidget has to find a way to stop him without hurting Max. Thinking quickly, Super Gidget uses a vacuum cleaner to suck up Infestor and get him out of Max's fur. Once Infestor is defeated, Max thanks Super Gidget for her help. At the end of the short film, Super Gidget's fight with Infestor is revealed to be a dream that Gidget is having. And when Gidget's owners see her moving around, they assume that she has fleas. This makes Gidget gasp in shock because she thinks that Infestor is actually real, and that he might actually be in her fur, trying to give her a really bad itch. However, it's unknown if Infestor is actually real or not.
