The Injustice Society of America, also known as the Injustice Society or ISA, are the main antagonists of the CW TV series Stargirl.
They are a villainous group of several individuals led by Jordan Mahkent/Icicle, that sought to remake the United States of America in their own image by instilling their beliefs into minds of others through mind control. The group was disbanded in 2020 following their failed attempt at executing Project New America. They are the arch-enemies/evil counterparts to the Justice Society of America (JSA).
History[]
The Injustice Society of America was brought together by Icicle sometime before 1988 to combat the heroic Justice Society of America. Despite opposing differences, the ISA's members agreed they would work together under Icicle's leadership so they could make the United States of America a safer place for their children to grow up in by riding the world of injustice through any means necessary. Each member had his or her unique set of skills that proved vital to Icicle's agenda, especially Brainwave. In 2010, the Injustice Society led an all out assault on the original Justice Society at an abandoned mansion in Los Angelas, California on Christmas Eve and managed to kill almost every single member, bringing an end to the Golden Age of heroes.
Life in Blue Valley[]
After the fall of the JSA, the Injustice Society relocated to Blue Valley, Nebraska with their families and operated as ordinary civilians to the general public. They used a business called The American Dream as a cover for their criminal activities with their secret base being a series of underground tunnels that had been built by The Other Founding Fathers in 1876. Sometime later on the ISA began working with Dragon King to help them carryout Project New America, a plan designed to fulfill Icicle's ultimate goal of remaking the United States of America by brainwashing every developed mind in twenty-five states. For nearly a decade the villains lived peaceful, sheltered lives while waiting for the right time to enact their grand plan.
Downfall and Disbandment[]
By 2020, the Injustice Society gathered every piece of equipment necessary to build a machine that would amplify Brainwave's telepathic abilities allowing him to reprogram roughly 100-million adults, with 25% of the target demographic dying in the process. However, Stargirl's new iteration of the Justice Society was able to defeat the villains and stop their evil scheme from being fulfilled. This caused the ISA to disband with most members either dead, incarcerated, or on the run.
