Inouva was an antagonist in the anime adaptation of Magic Knight Rayearth.
In the original Japanese, Inouva was voiced by Ryoutarou Okiayu. In the English dub, he was voiced by Terrance Stone.
Biography[]
Inouva was a lightning elemental given to Princess Emeraude by Zagato as a birthday gift and at an unknown point before the story, Inouva was granted a human form by the latter. After Emeraude was "kidnapped" by Zagato, Inouva acted as Zagato's second-in-command.
During the Magic Knights' journey to the floating mountain shrine, Inouva intercepts them and their ally Ferio by disguising himself as an injured girl named Sera. Noticing Fuu's love for Ferio, Inouva attempts to exploit that love but is ultimately foiled by the revival of the Rune God Windam.
After this failure, Inouva requests that Zagato turn him back into his true form, knowing that he'll never be able to resume a human form again, and Zagato grants his request. As a lightning elemental, Inouva confronts the Knights, nearly vanquishing them until Emeraude reveals his weakness to Hikaru. After Inouva dies at Hikaru's hands, he is mourned by Emeraude and Zagato.
