Joseph Bruce and Joseph Utsler, better known as Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope respectively and the Insane Clown Posse collectively, are minor antagonists of the webcomic Homestuck. They are a much more heinous version of the real-life rappers by the same name that assisted the Condesce in her dominion over Earth.

Pre-scratch kids' timeline[]
Dave Strider received the music video for the ICP's song "Miracles" from Betty Crockervia Delerious Biznasty a year before its release and, while talking to Gamzee Makara, he compared the latter's religion to the Insane Clown Posse and sent him the video. Gamzee then realized that his entire religion was based around lies and blasphemy. This, along with Gamzee looking into Lil Cal's eyes, caused the troll to go insane.
Post-scratch kids' timeline[]
The Insane Clown Posse were famous singers that ran for president of America. Because of The Condesce's manipulation of the public they managed to be voted in. The Insane Clown Posse led America with bizarre laws and rules, like changing the D.C. in Washington D.C. to stand for Dark Carnival and changing the national anthem to them farting in to a microphone and laughing. They also passed the laws that allowed Guy Fieri to start the Hilarocaust.
Dirk's bro kills the Insane Clown Posse
The Insane Clown Posse were then Challenged to a duel by Dirk Strider's bro on top of the White House. Dirk's bro won the duel and decapitated them both.
Skaianet Systems Incorporated[]
As revealed in the ambiguously canon Skaianet Systems Incorporated, the Insane Clown Posse are actually clones created by the Condesce.
