The Insect Master is an overarching antagonist of the 2013 LEGO Ninjago tie-in comic Stone Cold. He is an old enemy of Master Wu.

Biography

The Insect Master once fought Master Wu and was defeated by him and imprisoned in the Tower of Tears. When Lord Garmadon destroyed the tower, the Insect Master was set free along with many other villains that were imprisoned there.

Shortly after Wu's fight with Cardinsto, the Insect Master sent a swarm of bees after his old enemy. Wu jumped in water to avoid the insects, but was intercepted by another enemy of his, the Barracudox, who he was eventually able to defeat. The Insect Master was never seen again and seemingly managed to avoid being defeated by Master Wu, who went on to fight his other enemies.

Trivia

• The Insect Master is never actually shown in the comic, only being mentioned by name once. He does appear in a poster for the comic made by Papercutz.
