Cara Chitin, better known as Insectiva, is a major antagonist in the Discovery Kids show Grossology.
Biography[]
Cara was a promising entomologist at her university. However, she developed an obsession, (which she calls "devotion"), to insects, and after seeing humans dissecting insects at her university, she freed all of them one night and followed the bug life, betraying humanity and plotting for insects to rule the world.
She first appears in the show's debut episode "Queen for a Day," where she sends an army of mutant termites on the city that soon form giant mounds to conquer the world. Insectiva and Abby battle with pheromones until the latter uses a combination of trail and ant pheromones on her, and the termites end up attacking her.
In "Club Parasites", she sends out an army of cloned mind-controlling lice to turn the world into mindless slaves to insects, and nearly succeeds, until Ty and Lab Rat figure out they can use his slick formula to fight back, and then save Ringworm Junior High.
She and a few of the Grossologists villains' teamed up temporary, Lance Boil, and Sloppy Joe.
