Inspector Rigor Mortis is the main antagonist of the 1996 DC Comics limited series Lobo: Death and Taxes. He is an evil tax collector, the boss of Porque "Bronc" Chauvez, and an Asset Seizure Specialist of the Interstellar Revenue Cartel.
Biography[]
Rigor Mortis arrived at Ramona's Unisex Salon and Bail Bonds to tell Ramona he's closing her account due to bankruptcy. He told her to pay him all her taxes in 7 days, before hiring Bronc Chauvez to take all of Ramona's taxes. He figured out that Lobo had been evading a lot of his taxes, so he and Bronc Chauvez set up a trap to capture Lobo. He killed Bronc Chauvez as he tries to download Lobo's tax history, but failed. He called in the I.R.C. targeting command as Lobo leaves, which eventually and inadvertently killed him.
Personality[]
Inspector Mortis doesn't tolerate failure when people don't pay taxes.
Appearance[]
Inspector Mortis has brownish and decaying skin, green eyes, and a tuxedo.
Trivia[]
- Inspector Mortis' design was re-used for the MBA from the 2000 Lobo webseries. Unlike him, they speak an alien language and have white skin and red eyes.
