The Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (abbreviated as IMC), formerly known as Hammond Engineering, are the main antagonists of the Titanfall franchise. It is one of the playable factions alongside the Frontier Militia in Titanfall, the secondary antagonists of Titanfall 2 and the overarching antagonists of Apex Legends.
They are a massive industrial conglomerate originating from Earth. With Earth's support and the development of jump drives, the IMC deployed its fleets to distant, independent human colony worlds to exploit their rich resources. Facing the loss of their homes and having enough of IMC's exploitations, the colonists formed an resistance group known as the Frontier Militia and fought back, sparking the Titan Wars and eventually, the Frontier War.
