| ~ Iratus' declaration after taking control of the ONI facility |
Iratus is the main antagonist of Halo Infinite: Seasons. He is a Personal AI who sides with the Banished.
Biography[]
Iratus was created by Lux Voluspa with Jiralhanae donors as part of their research on artifical intelligence then would later align himself with the Banished. He was given position to be an overseer of the Banished operations on Chamber only to be captured by Spartans Eklund and Dinh in Dinh's nerual interface. Iratus would begin interfering with Dinh's functions despite already being taken to the Avery J. Johnson Academy of Military Science. Just moments before his containment, Iratus begins to mind torture Dinh with a pain of his memories and gain knowledge of an ONI facility within the academy.
Some point after, he would break free from containment, interface himself in the ONI faciity as he begins taking control of it while interfacing himself within an unused Spartan suit and infect any Spartan-IV to his side. He would then lead the Banished-infected Spartan-IVs whom he dubs them his "thralls" to attack anyone in the academy where they would reanimate into more of them.
With the season story cancelled, however, it is possible that Iratus has succeeded in taking over the academy.
Trivia[]
- In the leaks of the original story, Iratus was already defeated by the Spartans with ONI soon retaking the facility after the outbreak was contained. However, after the story is cancelled, it is likely that Iratus have most apparently succeeded in disposing the Avery J. Johnson academy of the UNSC forces and have it under Banished control.
