Biography[]
The Iron Dragons were a Hong Kong based karate dojo led by Sensei Wolf, being the defending champions at the international karate tournament known as the Sekai Taikai. While Sensei Wolf originally lost ownership of this dojo after he got into debt, this changed when he met Terry Silver, who offered to pay his debts and give him his dojo back while he managed it from behind scenes as long as he promised to humiliate Silver's rivals Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai on the Sekai Taikai.
During the first round of preliminaries, after Cobra Kai defeats Miyagi Do and Falchi De La Notte easily, the Iron Dragons were the last third dojo standing set to face Cobra Kai. With their best students Axel Kovacevic and Zara Malik, they were able to defeat Cobra Kai easily, particularly Tory Nichols and Kwon Jae-Sung, much to the shock of Cobra Kai’s senseis John Kreese and Kim Da-Eun. It also turns out that Zara Malik is also a popular social media influencer, wanting to prove herself to be the best fighter to boost her popularity there.
Wanting Daniel out of the tournament, Terry Silver and Sensei Wolf arranged a trap for him by delivering him a message to meet Master Serrano, which in reality, he would be trapped in a dog cage at an abandoned building guarded by thugs led by Dennis de Guzman, only for Daniel to escape from them. Later on, Zara Malik and Axel were able to defeat West End Warriors easily.
During semifinals, Axel Kovacevic faced of Robby Keene, but after pushing him aside to Cobra Kai, in which resulted foul play by Kwon Jae-Sung nudging Robby off their corner, resulted in a scuffle between the dojos, which eventually gotten worse when Sensei Ivanov ignited a brawl after knocking Gunther Braun cold. In the ensuing chaos, Zara faced off Robby and Tory, beating the former but losing to the latter. However, she is shocked when Kwon Jae-Sung accidentally kills himself. In the series finale, they were defeated by Cobra Kai in the Sekai Tekai tournament and was dissolved after losing the tournament and Sensei Wolf left in exile and shame,

Trivia[]
- The Iron Dragons are somewhat similar to and possibly influenced by the Fighting Dragons Studio from the 2010 Karate Kid remake due to the fact that they are both abusive towards their own students as well as giving strict orders to them to give cheap shots towards their opponents. Both dojos are also based in China, but whereas Fighting Dragons is in mainland China, the Iron Dragons is a part of Hong Kong, which isn’t in fact, part of China and are mostly a special administrative region of China.
- The Iron Dragons are inadvertently responsible for the eventual alliance between Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do, along with finally burying the old rivalry between Johnny and Daniel from the first Karate Kid movie.
