Iron Mask is a member of the Akuma Clan and the secondary antagonist of episode 2 of the Tokusatsu series Akumaizer 3.
He is voiced by Shunji Yamada, who also voiced Jamaican Daninghan in the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam anime series.
Biography[]
After the humans rescued by the Akumaizer 3 were brought back to the surface world, Iron Mask was sent by Mezalord to kill all of them to ensure the Akuma Clan remained a secret. Two of the people Iron Mask and his minions targeted were a mother and her child, but the Akumaizer 3 showed up and saved them. Iron Mask then revealed he had taken Jun Nagisa and Ippei Shima hostage and threatened to kill them unless Xavitan handed the mother and her child over. As Xavitan hesitated, Darunia suddenly appeared and intervened, distracting Iron Mask long enough for the Akumaizer 3 to rescue Jun and Ippei. Iron Mask and his minions then fought the Akumaizer 3, with Iron Mask dueling Xavitan. Iron Mask briefly managed to make Xavitan freeze up with a beam he emitted from his helmet but was attacked by Gabra before he could finish Xavitan off. After being defeated by Xavitan, Iron Mask teleported away to retreat.
Iron Mask and Mezalord later kidnapped Jun in order to use her to lure Xavitan back to the Downworld. Once the Akumaizer 3 arrived, the two revealed Xavitan's human mother and threatened to kill her unless Xavitan rejoined them. However, Xavitan's mother encouraged her son to keep fighting and stated that she would gladly rather than see him give up on his ideals, leading Mezalord to kill her. The Akumaizer 3 then attacked Iron Mask and Mezalord and fought their way through them and their followers, eventually leading the fight to spill outside. Iron Mask attempted to take out Evil by paralyzing him with his Iron Mask Beam, but Xavitan attacked him before he could finish his comrade off. Iron Mask was then hurled into the sky and destroyed by the combined power of the Akumaizer 3.
