Isaac is the main antagonist of the 2019 video game One Piece: World Seeker. He is the prison warden of Jewel Island, better known as Prison Island, and the brother of Jeanne.
He is voiced by Rikiya Koyama in the Japanese version.
Personality[]
Isaac displayed a cold, calculating personality. He knows how to manipulate others and get them to do what he wants without them noticing. However, his technology has made him a bit arrogant and believes that no one can harm him. According to Jeanne, he used to be very approachable and smiled a lot, cared a lot about his family and also enjoyed cooking for others. However, after his mother's death, he developed a hatred for pirates and also for the people of his home island, whom he blamed for not helping his mother. He also explained to Luffy that he would hate the sea itself because it reminds him of his mother's death. When he found out the truth behind the pirate attack, he no longer trusted the World Government and decided to leave everything behind and dedicate his life only to revenge. He also didn't shy away from using his own sister as a tool for his revenge plan when he locked her in a battle suit he controlled and forced her to attack the islanders. Nevertheless, he always appeared in situations where Jeanne's life was in danger to save her if necessary. After his defeat against Luffy, he regretted some of his decisions and wanted to sacrifice himself to save Luffy and Jeanne.
Powers and Abilities[]
Isaac is highly intelligent and a specialist in robotics. He has built several robot soldiers and combat suits and is also a talented strategist. His arms and legs are enhanced with cybernetic modifications, giving him exceptional physical strength and tremendous speed. He can also detach his hands from his body and use them like missiles, but of course, he can also bring them back again. His attacks are enhanced by applying electrical energy to his hands, similar to the Minks' use of Electro, although not naturally. In addition, he is very well versed in technology and science, so much so that he acquired various full-body suits that increase his strength through different attributes. All of this makes him an extremely dangerous and confident opponent.
Biography[]
Past[]
Isaac's mother was formerly the head of the island, which was then known as Jewel Island. He tried to help her with all her tasks. One day, however, the secret of the island, that this is where most of the Dyna Stones come from, was made known, which resulted in a pirate attack twelve years ago. The islanders were powerless, whereupon Isaac's mother collected the Dyna Stones, took a boat out to sea and blew herself up, thus losing the pirates' target. Especially since Isaac's mother was officially the only one who knew how to safely retrieve the Dyna Stones from the ground. While trying to help his mother, he received a large scar on his face. Isaac then developed a hatred of pirates and the islanders who did not help his mother. He left the island and joined the Navy . A few years later he returned to the island and had three prisons built: the Prison Tower, the Sea Prison and the Sky Prison. Isaac became the prison warden of the three prisons and renamed the island Prison Island. The addition of marine soldiers and trade routes increased the island's prosperity in some cities, while others became impoverished, which led to a split between naval supporters and naval opponents, which was part of Isaac's plan. At an unknown point in time, Isaac discovered that the World Government was the one behind the pirate attack to get the Dyna Stones, whereupon Isaac planned his revenge. Through an agreement with the world government, he was able to secure command of the island and does not owe any explanation to the navy on site.
Present[]
Isaac spread rumors that an incredible treasure was hidden on the island, attracting many pirates to the island, including the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy had himself arrested so that they could search for the treasure in the sky prison, but they found out that there was no treasure, whereupon Luffy & Co. fled. However, Isaac had his robots attack their ship, which is why the Straw Hat gang had to stay on the prison island. As time went on, more and more celebrities came to the island to verify the rumors about the treasure or the Dyna Stones. After Sir Crocodile, Law and Buggy, among others, were spotted on the island, the naval admirals Fujitora and Kizaru were also ordered to the island. Isaac also had the warmongers Germa come to the island in 66; supposedly to get their protection, in return for which they would receive his technology. Isaac also spread rumors of arms smuggling, which led to the Revolutionary Army coming to the island, or Sabo as a representative, to investigate the situation. Since Isaac stopped sending any more reports or Dyna Stones to the World Government, Rob Lucci also came to the island as a representative of the CP0. However, Isaac sent information to Sabo to investigate certain locations, thus attracting the Cipherpol's attention. While all parties on the island fought each other, Isaac planned to use the collected Dyna Stones to attack Mary Joa while his robots would kill everyone on the island. But Luffy and Jeanne managed to calm down the naval supporters and naval opponents and avert war. Isaac then locked Jeanne in a combat suit, which he controlled remotely, and had her attack the islanders to make it appear as if the Pro-Navy leader had started a war. He then let his robots run amok. Luffy and Jeanne then confronted Isaac in the sky prison, but he didn't want to listen and knocked Jeanne out, so a fight with Luffy began. In the end, Isaac was forced to use his strongest armor, his Anti-Admiral Armor, but still lost to Luffy.
While he was unconscious, he had a dream about his mother and asked her why Jeanne and Luffy were stronger than him. She explained to him that it's because they have something to protect. Isaac thought he had nothing left because he had given up all relationships, but his mother said that if he opened his eyes he would see what he still had to protect. When Isaac came to again, he saw Jeanne in front of him, who was happy that her brother was okay. Since the Anti-Admiral Armor used up too much energy and the Celestial Prison could no longer fly as far, Isaac threw Luffy down from the prison and transferred his armor to Jeanne, who he remotely controlled to fly to the Thousand Sunny. He himself had decided to steer the sky prison as far away from the island as possible and, like his mother, explode the Dyna Stones on the sea to atone for his actions. However, Sabo had already sent several rescue teams in Isaac's direction, who rescued Isaac and nursed him back to health. Some time later he was seen visiting his mother's grave, which greatly pleased Jeanne, who was present.
