Isaac Cho is the main antagonist of the Netflix 2023 black comedy limited series Beef. He is the criminal older cousin of Danny and Paul.
He was portrayed by American actor and painter David Choe.
Biography[]
Isaac is released from prison after serving time for selling illegal goods. He then meets up with Danny, who asks him for financial help after Amy ruined his business reputation. Later they end up going to Las Vegas in an attempt to steal construction tools to start business. Isaac is then framed by someone as the person who was in the road rage incident with Amy Lau. When he gets out of jail he vengefully looks for Danny as he blames him for leaving him in jail. He needed money to pay some Filipinos he had issues with. After Danny accidently kidnaps June, Amy's daughter, he kidnaps her, along with holding Danny and Paul hostage and holds her for ransom calling Amy and threatened to kill June if she didn't pay him thousands of dollars and NOT to call police. Once the police arrive, he would've called Bobby to take June out, but Michael couldn't reach him as Paul and Danny already knocked Bobby out unconscious and put June safely in Amy's car. The police come to Jordan's house where they are at and there is a shootout, which results in Michael being shot dead and Isaac and Bobby being arrested.
