Biography[]
Isaac Frost competed at the same amateur boxing tournament as Andre Bishop, cleanly winning every fight en route to the heavyweight gold medal. However, he did not win the distinction of "fighter of the games", the honor instead going to Andre, the middleweight gold medalist. Despite this initial setback, Frost is quickly signed by D.L. McQueen, a crooked boxing promoter, who begins pushing heavily to get him as the next heavyweight boxing champion. Through his career, Frost proves to be an arrogant, condescending, and self-obsessed thug whose opponents rarely, if ever, make it past the first two rounds. Eventually, McQueen's aggressive pushing of Frost bears success as he captures the Heavyweight belt a few years after his pro debut.
A few years into his title reign, media coverage slowly begins to shift away from Frost and toward Andre, who had just completed a five-year prison sentence and is attempting to make a comeback as a heavyweight. While outwardly claiming that Andre is a joke every chance he got, Frost couldn't wait for the chance to beat Andre and end his fairytale run. However, his plans were temporarily put on the shelf as he first had to deal with his younger brother Raymond, who beat Andre in a "title eliminator" fight to face him. Taking advantage of Raymond's assumption that his victory over his brother was based on his skill alone, Frost brutalizes him to the point where he had to be hospitalized, effectively provoking Andre to challenge him to a title bout in blind anger. However, despite delivering several rounds of brutal punishment to him, including a bad cut over his right eye early in the fifth round, it soon becomes clear that Frost doesn't have the same level of stamina and endurance Andre got from his trainer, Gus Carisi, and he is eventually knocked out for the first time in his career, forcing him to drop the heavyweight title to Andre.
