Isamu Fuwa is the deuteragonist of Kamen Rider Zero-One. While starting off an anti-hero and becoming a hero later on, he becomes an anti-villain in the final arc when he goes to assault Aruto to stop him from fighting Horobi, who was on the verge of mounting a crusade against humanity, in a misguided attempt to prevent conflict.
He uses the AIMS ShotRiser to transform into Kamen Rider Vulcan.
He is portrayed by Ryutaro Okada.
Biography[]
As Aruto became Kamen Rider Ark-One to avenge Izu (who had been murdered by Horobi after trying to negotiate with him) and Horobi accepted the Zetsumetsu Driver from Azu (after Jin died shielding him from an attack), Fuwa feared a war between humans and Humagears was on the horizon and sought to prevent it by confronting Aruto.
As Aruto was going to stop Horobi, Fuwa approached him and told him not to fight him. Aruto responded by pointing out that Horobi had caused everything and would wreak even more havoc if left unchecked before attempting to proceed on. After both he and Naki were unable to convince Aruto not to go after Horobi, Fuwa pulled out his ShotRiser and attempted to transform with it. While he was unable to use his existing keys, Naki tossed him the Japanese Wolf key, allowing him to become Kamen Rider Ortheros Vulcan. As Fuwa transformed to attack Aruto, Aruto saw that Fuwa did not intend to let him pass and became Kamen Rider Zero-Two. Zero-Two then stood for a while to see what Vulcan would do, before Vulcan fired at him and charged at him.
Zero-Two attempted to fight off Vulcan's attacks and make it away from him, but Vulcan continued to charge at and assault Aruto. After Aruto's repeated attempts to lightly incapacitate Vulcan did not work, he attacked the ShotRiser directly and damaged it in an attempt to cancel Fuwa's transformation. Despite this, Vulcan persisted and made another attack on Zero-Two. Vulcan attempted to slash Zero-Two with his claws, but Zero-Two snapped one off before pounding him again. Vulcan would then attempt another attack, only for the damaged ShotRiser to explode after overloading, shattering into several pieces and leaving Fuwa pathetically lying on the ground. Fuwa then got up again to berate Aruto, but his criticism fell on death ears as Aruto kept on walking towards Horobi.
After Aruto defeated Horobi but spared his life, he and Fuwa presumably reconciled. Fuwa would later be critically injured and possibly deceased after exchanging a mutual blow with Kamen Rider MetsubouJinrai.
