Itasha (イターシャ Itāsha) is a member of the Sanseaters and a major antagonist in Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger. Originally a pickpocket who got her loot stolen, Itasha is the monster creator. She also has two imaginary cat friends named Sara (サラ Sara) and Lavinia (ラビニア Rabinia).
Itasha is voiced by Nana Mizuki, who also voices Sara and Lavinia.
Biography[]
Past[]
Itasha was originally a pickpocket who lived in poverty. According to Decotorade, she's the fastest pickpocket in the universe. Itasha was originally all alone until she met Sara and Lavinia, who were her only two friends until she met Decotorade and Yarucar.
Itasha met Decotorade and Yarucar and formed the Sanseaters trio with them. The three of them were eventually recruited into Great Space Invasion Running Team Hashiryan by MadRex, who saved them from another group of thugs.
Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger[]
Alongside Decotorade and Yarucar, Itasha was the first of the Hashiriyans to land on Earth, where they steal Mira Shifuto's wedding dress, which she uses to create Wedding Dress Grumer. From then on, the Sanseaters would continue to create Kurumaju and fight the Boonboomgers under the supervision of MadRex, Cannonborg, Disrace, and Grantu Risk.
Redemption[]
After Waruido Spindo disposes of Disrace 2000 by blowing him up in an attempt to take down Sakito Homura/Bun Violet and Byun Diesel with him, the Sanseaters start doubting him, especially after he orders Grantu Risk to turn Yaiyai Yarucar into Kurumaju Grumer and explode all over the city. After Jyo Akuse/Bun Black and Genba Bureki/Bun Orange defeat Kurumaju Grumer and return Yarucar to normal, the Sanseaters decide to have their revenge by destroying a larger Kurumaju Grumer (created from an army of Yarucars commanded by Grantu) using a Boonboom Killer Robo and apparently perishing in the ensuing explosion.
The Sanseaters turn out to survive this, but are rendered fugitives and are on the run from the Nejiretta who were sent to capture them. They eventually meet Jyo who sympathizes with them over their similar situations (The Sanseaters had to quit Hashiriyan due to Spindo almost using them as pawns, while Jyo had to quit the police due to their partnership with the ISA). They then decide to save a group of children from the Nejiretta.
The Sanseaters then indirectly assist the Boonboomgers in their final battle with Waruido Spindo and Grantu Risk, using Decotorade's Zekkyo Big Microphone to stream the battle to the world and help humanity regain their faith in the Boonboomgers. After Spindo is defeated, the Sanseaters leave in a modified Boonboom Killer Trailer, travelling to a new home planet where they could do whatever they want.
Personality[]
Itasha is sneaky, energetic, quick and determined. She is shown to be very persistent too as when she has her eyes set on something she will get it but she is not much of a fighter and usually flees at the sight of the Boonboomgers but will fight them when she has too. Despite this, she has standards as she is disgusted by Gomi Bako Grumer's practice of ruining people's presents after he destroys a book of Santa Claus given to her by Taiya, to the point that she helps the Boonboomgers to defeat him.
Itasha is fascinated with Earth's forms of wealth and fortune and has a proud reputation of being the universe's fastest pickpocket.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Pickpocketing: Itasha has a profession in pickpocketing an item from its owner without even being noticed. Before she joined the Hashiriyan, she was known to be the fastest pickpocket in the universe.
- Maximum Fluffy Kitty Claw (マキシマムふわふわキティクロー Makishimamu Fuwafuwa Kiti Kurō): Following the Champion Bakuage Drive, Itasha joins Sara and Lavinia to deliver devastating triple energy scratch to the opponent.
Arsenal[]
- Ignition Key (イグニッションキー Igunisshon Kī): A special key that Itasha uses to create Kurumaju from inanimate object. Disrace later upgrades it and gives it the ability to create Kurumaju that can transport Ghassolin directly to the Hashiriyan HQ.
- Boonboom Danger (ブンブンデンジャー Bunbun Denjā): A device created by Cannonborg and modelled after the Boonboomgers' Boonboom Changer. Itasha uses it to summon the Boonboom Killer Robo and activate its weaponry while Decotorade pilots it.
