He serves as a major antagonist in Anastasia: The Permafrost Empire. He is also summonable as a Rider-class servant in the gameplay.

Overview[]
This Lostbelt version of Ivan the Terrible, like other Lostbelt Heroic Spirits to their Proper Human History's counterpart, is a different version of Ivan the Terrible from an alternate history, where a meteor crashed into Earth in 1764 A.D., triggering an Ice Age.
Ivan was able to save himself and 10% of Russia's population by ordering his court magicians to magically transform them into human-beast hybrids known as the "Yaga". He ruled over the frozen wastes of Russia for 450 years as its supreme Tsar.
However, with the arrival of Kadoc Zemlupus and Anastasia, Ivan would be put into a deep slumber so the Crypters could use the army produced by his Noble Phantasm.
History[]
Trivia[]
- Interestingly, the Chinese translation of Ivan the Terrible's alias, called "雷帝" (Ivan the Thunder Emperor), is originated from an early traslation (possibly an error) that mistook "terrible" (гро́зный) in Russian as "thunder" (громовой), but that translation "雷帝" (Thunder Emperor) eventually becomes a longlasting translation of the alias for both Chinese and Japanese, still used as of today.
- As an intended play of puns, this Lostbelt Ivan is literally associated with thunder itself.
- Upon becoming playable, Ivan the Terrible outranked Darius III to become the tallest playable Servant in Fate/Grand Order at the time (barring a few characters with undetermined height), but was now surpassed after Kingprotea became playable. In spite of this, Ivan currently still holds the record for being the tallest male Playable Servant in Fate/Grand Order.
