Biography[]
Law & Order: Organized Crime[]
A former soldier in the Israeli Army, Bekher becomes gangster Richard Wheatley's bodyguard and right-hand man after he immigrates to the United States.
He is first seen taking Wheatley to meet with Wheatley's father, mob boss Manfredi Sinatra. Wheatley, who knows his father has been informing on him, orders Bekher to shoot him dead.
Bekher first meets Detective Elliot Stabler of the NYPD's Organized Crime Bureau when Stabler and his partner, Sergeant Ayanna Bell, approach Wheatley, Bekher and Wheatley's daughter Dana outside the Contrapos building. After meeting Stabler, Wheatley orders Bekher to kidnap Stabler's son, Eli, but Stabler intercepts Bekher, who then beats him up. After an unsuccessful attempt to raid Wheatley's charity event the next day, Stabler spots Bekher standing by the entrance holding a weapon. Stabler confiscates the weapon from Bekher and discovers that Bekher used that same gun to attack Stabler and murder Sinatra and Jocelyn Howell.
Stabler arrests Bekher and takes him into custody. Stabler and Bell interrogate Bekher about the murders and Bekher tries to deny the allegations, but Stabler and Bell show him the evidence they had against him. While in prison, Bekher reaches out to Stabler telling him that he wants to talk and needs protection. When Stabler and Bell meet with Bekher in his cell, Bekher reveals to them that he killed Sinatra on Wheatley's orders.
Bekher makes a deal with Assistant District Attorney Dominick Carisi Jr., Stabler, Bell and Judge Sharon Lee to assist the NYPD in their investigation against Wheatley. Bekher agrees to become their informant and help them trap Wheatley, but he refuses to wear a wire. Lee warns Bekher that if he breaks the deal then he will go back to prison for two murder charges. Bekher agrees to go forward with the deal. After Bekher is released from prison, he meets with Wheatley under police surveillance. Bekher destroys a surveillance device that Stabler had planted in order to regain Wheatley's trust.
Later that day, Bell discovers that Bekher purchased a vise which was used to create the bomb that killed Stabler's wife, Kathy. Bell, Stabler and the rest of their team approach Bekher about his role in Kathy's murder; Stabler punches him and forces him to tell them why Wheatley wanted Kathy dead. Bekher then reveals that Wheatley's ex-wife Angela ordered Kathy's murder.
After Wheatley finds out that his son Richie's girlfriend, Gina Cappelletti, is an undercover cop, he orders Richie to kill her, which he reluctantly does as Bekher looks on. Bekher buries Gina in a shallow grave in that same park.
Wheatley soon realizes that Bekher, as a witness to the murder, is a liability, and so has his new security team kill him. Bekher's body is never found.
