Jack was originally a confused and angry individual due to his status as an experiment and "lesser" creature, he was also deeply tortured by the fact he was genetically altered to be a eunuch, despite his he found comfort with another experiment named Jill - her murder sparked an uncontrollable hatred in Jack and he became a brutal dictator who wiped out the entire human race in a genocidal war that ultimately wiped out Earth as we know it, thousands of years later this would result in a new world forming from the ashes.
Upon becoming a Sin and a Reaper tasked with collecting souls Jack changed, faced with the enormity of his crimes in life and understanding what he did he was forever a new man - ironically as the Sin of Wrath he would mellow, instead his hatred started to go within and he still views himself as unworthy of forgiveness or redemption even as he fights to try and save others or offer a chance for redemption.
Despite his character remarkably improving due to the brutal nature of the cosmology within Jack he still has some major flaws and can enter violent rages and even cruelty towards others.

Trivia
- Jack is the eldest of the "main" cast of Sins, save for Kane, having lived thousands of years before Drip (or other "furs") even came into existence - due to being the one that wiped out humanity he is also often considered the "worst" of the Sins (despite being the only one trying to better himself).
