Jack is a supporting antagonist in The Hex. He is the Sphinx's servant until she is moved to a dating simulator.
Personality[]
Jack is an inquisitive person, instantly suspicious of Chandrelle and Lazarus when they tried to offer him fake ankhs. However, due to how the game is scripted he is forced to register them as real ankhs. Jack is irrational however, and cannot be reasoned with when it comes to people who have humiliated him.
Biography[]
Secrets of Legendaria[]
Jack is found guarding the Sphinx's pyramid, spouting out scripted dialogue to Chandrelle and Lazarus. They'll discuss an infamous bugged Ankh to the corner of the map that will give them infinite, but Jack, eager to proceed with the quest as intended, threatens that he'll know if they try to fool him. Depending on the player's choice, they'll do so anyway. While Jack is initially suspicious, he'll let them pass.
Vicious Galaxy[]
If Jack if given bugged ankhs in Secrets of Legendaria, he will return in Vicious Galaxy as a boss. He'll exclaim his anger to Lazarus for being humiliated with the bugged ankhs. While Lazarus tries saying he wasn't proud of fooling Jack, Jack then goes on to let Lazarus know that because he and Chandrelle destroyed Secrets of Legendaria, the Sphinx was moved to a dating simulator. Lazarus gives his condolences, before Jack angrily engages in a battle. Jack will attack Lazarus with bugged ankhs and storms of ankhs using magic. Once he runs out of mana, he starts using brute force. However, unlike other bosses that run out of mana, Jack still deals somewhat moderate damage when attacking without magic, and due to him no longer being able to create ankhs, Lazarus cannot use them to heal anymore meaning it is better to take him out as soon as possible once he reaches this phase. Jack is overall the hardest RPG-style boss in the game aside from the mimic slime. Once he is defeated, he claims that the Sweaty Dragon was right about Lazarus being detestable.
