U.S. Senator Jack McKenna is a minor antagonist featured in the 2024 first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
He is a United States senator associated with Pantheon, and due to his connections, was targeted by Troy Marshall's team during their mission to rescue Russell Adler.
He is voiced by Charlie Heydt.
Biography[]
Background[]
Jack McKenna was born presumably in the 1940s in the United States and eventually became a politician and a member of the United States Senate. He later become an associate of Pantheon and possibly Jane Harrow, using his political influence for their goals. He also married a woman named Miriam, but secretly started an affair with his aide Anne Johannsson. Unbeknownst to the senator, she had video taped one of their encounters to later blackmail him. He also obtained information on a New York crime family, putting him in the crosshairs of their fixer Gabriel Armato. Additionally, McKenna was one of the few individuals with access to the Capitol Station's covert black site via a retinal scan.
Most Wanted[]
On February 2nd, 1991 McKenna was invited by Governor Bill Clinton to attend a gala in his honor. Just before entering the building, he got into an argument with his wife due to her finding out he had been cheating on her with his aide. After entering the building, he met with Lee Grisham, the head of security of Aldrain Energy, and Clinton. Unbeknownst to him, due to his ties with Pantheon he was targeted by Troy Marshall's team to obtain a retinal scan to enter a black site beneath the building. He was watched by the assassin Sevati "Sev" Duma until William "Case" Calderon arrived.
After his arrival, the player can either speak with Miriam and investigate Jack's aide and mistress Anne Johannsson, confront Lee Grisham, or speak with the fixer Gabriel Armato.
Mystery Man[]
If the Grisham option is chosen, Case obtains his pager and sees a secret message from McKenna for Lee to meet him in the kitchen. Inside, Calderon's captured by McKenna and interrogated on who he is. The senator then ordered his men to severely break his hand, but Case broke from his restraints and knocked McKenna to the ground. He would then proceeded to take a picture of his eye to access the retinal scan.
Covert Affair[]
If the affair option is chosen, Case speaks with Miriam whom reveals her knowledge of her husband's affair and that it's his aide. Case then investigates Anne and learns of her plan to blackmail McKenna with a sex tape, and will ask for money in return to keep the affair a secret. Calderon obtains the tape and exposes Johannsson, earning Miriam's favor and getting a picture and retinal scan of Jack.
Highest Bidder[]
If the fixer option is chosen, Case speaks with Armato whom asks the agent to retrieve information McKenna has on the New York crime family. Cracking into a computer on information regarding gala's silent auction, Case is able to retrieve an encrypted disc hidden inside an ancient clock. Once giving the disc to the fixer, he is sent to the back office and founds McKenna held down by two "security guards" and takes a picture of the senator.
Aftermath[]
His fate is possibly dependent following Pantheon's attack, as he could left the gala after his affair was exposed, rescued and taken to the hospital after being knocked down by his captee Case, or was left in the office by Armato.
