He was portrayed by Michael Bryan French.
Physical appearance[]
Jack is an older Caucasian gentleman with a slim build and grey hair. He is only ever seen wearing expensive suits.
Personality[]

Biography[]
Background[]
At some point, Jack had a child, Danny. It is unknown when he began working with PolyCon (previously called MCC). Jack became SVP of the company and eventually appointed his son, Danny, as Director of Human Activities. Danny had no interest in working in the for-profit prison sector. Jack has a wife and had another child, a daughter, who died.
Orange is the New Black[]
With state-funding for prisons dwindling, Litchfield Penitentiary came under threat of closure. To prevent this, Caputo sought out private prison corporations to take over Litchfield to keep it open. This resulted in MCC buying the prison. However, this celebration is short-lived after MCC's austere measures result in innutritious food replacing the organic produce prepared by Galina Reznikov, accommodating maximum security inmates after cuts and insufficient training provided to en masse newly hired correctional officers.
Caputo challenges Pearson's strategies and begins to buckle under the pressure of new inmates and inexperienced staff, which Jack disregards, solely focusing on MCC's competition against other corporations. Jack's son, Danny, begins working in tandem with Caputo, but becomes increasingly frustrated at his father's lack of empathy for the inmates on the ground who he has never met. Danny resigns on the spot, which his father criticises him for.
After the accidental death of inmate Poussey Washington during a peaceful protest at the hands of a correctional officer, a riot surmounts. During the riot, Jack shows no compromise in meeting the inmates' demands for a better quality of life, and organises heavily armed riot police headed by Herrmann to stop it.
After Linda Ferguson, an MCC employee is caught in the riot, she gives Jack an ultimatum - either he offer her a significant promotion and salary increase or she sues MCC for corporate negligence for letting her get involved in the riot. Jack folds to Linda's demands.
