Jackson Caine is a supporting antagonist featured in the 2024 first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and a playable operator in the above mentioned game and the battle royales, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

Originally inspired by his father's heroism during the Vietnam War, Caine joined the Central Intelligence Agency but lost his idealism for his country after his brother's death. Recruited by the Pantheon, Caine serves Jane Harrow in her plans to take control of the CIA by releasing the Cradle. Following the failure of Harrow's false flag operation, Caine became the field commander of Crimson One to eliminate the Rogue Black Ops unit and prevent Pantheon's existence from being further exposed.

He is portrayed by Jason-Shane Scott through motion-capture, whilst being voiced by Rick Pasqualone, who also voiced Aldo Trapani in The Godfather II video game, and Vito Scaletta and Giuseppe Palminteri in the Mafia video game series.

Biography[]

Background[]

Born to a Vietnam war veteran, Jackson Caine and his brother were inspired by their father and decided to join the United States military. During the late 1970's, Caine either joined or was recruited into the Central Intelligence Agency and trained alongside Troy Marshall under Tamira "Westpoint" Chambers' leadership. Tragic struck Caine however in the late 1980's, as his brother was killed in action in Lebanon and destroyed his idealism for his country.

Joining Pantheon[]

During his grieving, he was approached by the Pantheon, a disavowed CIA division that used his grief to recruit him to their ranks. Caine decided to join the organization and became a mole who worked closely with Deputy Director Daniel Livingstone. In 1989, Caine and other Pantheon agents assisted Jane Harrow in framing Russell Adler for Operation Just Cause going wrong in Panama. He later assisted Harrow in her plans to commit a false flag operation, allowing the Pantheon to gain control of the CIA in the process.

Attempted Extraction of Alawi[]

After the botched operation in Kuwait, Caine oversaw Marshall, Harrow and Frank Woods' debrief with Livingstone. He then found out that Saeed Alawi had been killed and that Adler was captured after willingly surrendering. Weeks later, after the Black Ops members went rogue, Livingston assigned Caine to a joint task force dubbed Crimson One, with the main objective in capturing the Rogue Black Ops members alive for interrogation.

Capitol Station[]

Caine then attended the debate at the U.S. Capitol between Bill Clinton and Jack McKenna alongside Harrow. After getting confirmation from Harrow that Marshall's team were at the gala, he was sent in to capture Calderon. Upon Adler's rescue by the Rogue Black Ops, Caine ordered his men to exfil the remaining civilians while he went after them with assistance from the Pantheon, to no avail.

Aftermath[]

After Harrow's presumed death by William "Case" Calderon, Livingstone went to go meet with Marshall and Woods. While gone, Caine snuck into his office and started downloading multiple pieces of intel and sending it to the Pantheon. Over the course from 1991 to early 1992, Crimson One battles against the Rogue Black Ops to prevent them from exposing their existence.

Defending Stitch & Exposure[]

On January 8th, 1992 Caine and Crimson One were sent to Iceland to prevent the extraction of Vikhor "Stitch" Kuzmin. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful and unfortunately on the 12th the Rogue Black Ops were exposed with the list of their agents embedded within the CIA, sending them on the run. It's unknown if Caine was among those exposed and was forced on the run, or if he's still serving Pantheon following the event.
