Jacob Fischer is the main antagonist of "Power Hungry", the fifth episode of Fringe.
He is portrayed by Max Baker.
History[]
Jacob Fischer was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 7th, 1959, making him 49 years old. He is 69 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. Fischer was a scientist who is wanted in four states and three countries for illegal human experimentation including surgical alterations, radical hormone therapy and using average citizens as unwitting guinea pigs. He lured them to him using bogus ads.
He overtly treated Joseph Meegar for 'lack of confidence' while secretly accelerating Meegar's natural electro-magnetics to uncontrollable "human-weapon" levels. Through visions of John Scott, Olivia realized that someone survived an incident where Meeger caused an elevator to crashed. Now aware of Meegar's identity, they attempted to track him. However, Meegar is captured by Fischer who wishes to perform further tests on him. Walter finds Meegar's Walkman and uses its cassette tape to find a unique electromagnetic signature, then has homing pigeons guide Olivia, Peter, and Charlie to his location. Alerted by the FBI's arrival, Fischer attempts to leave with Meegar, who escapes but was then arrested by Charlie Francis and placed in solitary confinement.
