Jade Prime is the main antagonist of the Love, Death & Robots episode "Spider Rose".

He is the sadistic warlord and leader of a hostile alien group called Shifters and the archenemy and provoker of Lydia Martinez also known as Spider Rose.

He was voiced by Feodor Chin, who also voiced Xu Wenwu in What If...?, Leo Wong in Futurama, and Hun Dun in Monkey King: Hero is Back.

Biography

Eight years prior, Jade Prime and the Shifters of the Shaper Council infiltrated the Mechanist colony on Konis, wiping out everyone in their path, including Spider Rose's husband Diego. Seeking vengeance, Rose trades a rare jewel to an investor for a weapon in the form of an alien that evolves based on what it devours.

While bonding with the alien that she names Nosey, Rose is interrupted by the arrival of the Shifters. Jade reveals himself, having intercepted her transmission with a mechanist on Enceladus, and boasts his intentions to finish what he started by killing her, also revealing that she's been killing nothing but his clones, and now he wants to kill her himself.

Rose shoots a missile at the Shifters' ship that emits a toxic gas that kills the clones, but Jade manages to infiltrate the ship where he gets into a fight with Rose. Jade manages to gain the upper hand, but Nosey comes to Rose's aid and slashes his face, distracting him long enough for Rose to fire another missile at him, disintegrating Jade and avenging the deaths of everyone he killed.
