Jae Kim is the main antagonist of Season 1 of the crime action drama series S.W.A.T. .
He is a South Korean-American real estate developer, who is also secretly a mob boss. He is a wealthy and powerful real estate mogul who is secretly a dangerous Korean mafia boss and the notorious and dangerous financier of the Golden Boys Gang, a powerful Korean crime syndicate operating in Koreatown, Los Angeles. He is the archenemy of DEA Special Agent Katrina "K.C." Walsh, as he was the mastermind behind the kidnapping of her son.
Jae Kim was the financier of the Golden Boys, and ordered the kidnapping of Agent Walsh's son, attempting to use him to threaten her into dropping the investigation on the Golden Boys. Luckily, S.W.A.T. was able to find the boy, but as Jae Kim had Sang Kwon do his work for him.
However, Sergeant Hondo discovered call records between Kwon and Kim, and so he paid Kim a visit during one of his meetings, threatening that if Kim went for Walsh's family again, he would take action.
Kim would later file a police report against Hondo for his actions.
Vendetta[]
In Vendetta, Kim hired drive-by shooters to try and kill Hondo, but they failed.
Hondo was eventually able to outsmart Kim by forcing him to set up a drug deal that Hondo could use as evidence to prove Kim was guilty, and Kim was caught, and arrested, much to Hondo's satisfaction.
Personality[]
Jae Kim is extremely deceptive and manipulative, as he is able to portray himself as a very kind gentleman among cops. Only when caught unexpected or backed into a corner does he show his true colours as a ruthless, cut-throat businessman who will do anything to keep the product running.
