Jake is the secondary antagonist of Double Dragon IV.
Biography[]
Jake is a member of the Renegades and one of it's top enforcers. He is tasked by the Okada sisters to take over the USA and get rid of the Double Dragon brothers, which they saw as a potential threat to their plans. Thanks to the Double Dragon brothers having defeated the Black Warriors, Jake is easily able to kill their leader Willy Mackey and successfully take over the West Coast, after which he hires the former Black Warriors members and sends them after the brothers.
The brothers Jimmy and Billy are attacked while driving through the desert on their way to San Francisco, learning of the Renegade's plan after defeating Burnov. They decide to pursue Jake, who flees in a helicopter, in a speeding truck. They finally catch up with Jake in Las Vegas and defeat him, though he tells them that their friend Marian was kidnapped by them (they later learn she was taken to Japan to the Okada sisters).
Jake continues to appear in the game after his defeat, much like the other goons, even participating in the final fight against the Okada sisters.
