Jake Kim (Kim Gimyeong) is a major character in the Manhwa and presumed Netflix Adaptation series, Lookism. He is the son of the former generation king, Gapryeong Kim and is currently the head of Big Deal of the Four Major Crews of Seoul who was formerly the third in command of the Big Deal when under Sinu Han at that time.
Apparently, he was once of Gun's candidate to be the successor, being tasked to unite the four crews however he disobeyed Gun Park's rules on setting the illegal betting ring, he was removed from the candidacy entirely. It has later revealed that his father, Gapryeong Kim is one of the Pre Generation fighters do has earned the nickname "Legend of the Pre-Generation" and "Legend of the Underworld" in which he was despised by his own son since he neglected his own mother. He chose to join Big deal not because of following his fathers footsteps but to resolve and change views to change the way of the organization.

He was well described by everyone as a tall and handsome figure with slender build despite showing of expressiveness in his face but gives a calm expression as his eyes are deep brown while his hair is black.
Throughout the series, he went through 3 different haircuts, the first is the usual typical male slicked on the side of his forehead, second is the age hairstyle during his prison arc. Lastly he turned it to a buzz cut.
He has a scar on his face after fighting Gun and another one when fighting against Xiaolong in the 3rd Affiliates Arc.
Personality[]
Jake is a well charming and a charismatic individual whos usually polite to everyone who he meets even Jiho who he reminded him that they're only buisness partners. It is revealed through his story arc, that he has disdain for gangs due to his strained relationship to his father who he described as someone being fair to others but directly opposite to his family.
He is well laid back in his middle school years who have no interest being a leader of the school as he is someone who ironically doesn't like injustices nor unfairness that is demonstrated. He is considered caring by his allies due to fighting hard enough to maintain Big Deals independence from Gun while his crew are the most loyal since he considers others who are honest and fair as he dislikes those who fight dirty. From that note, he stated that he resembles himself as Sinu Han who showed him passion and romance including his ideals.
