~ Jakito if V1 decides to give it a sacrifice. |
Jakito is a minor antagonist in Ultrakill. A being with a resemblance to the online persona of the game's developer, Arsi "Hakita" Patala, it exists as a secret on the second level of the Wrath layer of Hell, "Waves of the Starless Sea".
Due to it not being an enemy by technicality, it is not classified in the terminals.
Biography[]
Jakito can be found locked in a cage at the top of a extremely tall tower at the beginning of the level. Getting up to the top of the tower requires the player to ride on Freezeframe rockets, overload the Pump Charge Shotgun, and/or use slam storage jumping to propel themselves to the top. Upon being found, Jakito would request for a sacrifice, needing it to escape. By placing a Florp (a hamster-like being found in a nest on the same level) on the pedestal before it, the Florp would become consumed by Jakito, accepting it as an offering. Announcing that it will destroy the world (presumably consisting of Earth, Heaven, Hell, and all else that exists), it breaks down the cage holding it before emerging from the Ocean Styx as a now gigantic being. After this point, its power will envelop the surrounding land, fading the screen to white before crashing the game.
If the player places a skull on the pedestal instead, Jakito will decline and say that the sacrifice must be of innocent flesh.

Trivia[]
- While difficult, the player is completely able to finish the level and proceed through the game as normal before Jakito is able to cause the game to crash.
- It is unknown as to why Jakito was imprisoned above the Ocean Styx, nor is it known as to who imprisoned him and how.
- Jakito's appearance is largely a deformed version of Fumo plushies, a line of merchandise most commonly associated with the Touhou Project franchise. Meanwhile, its actual design (being an exact replica of Hakita's online persona), borrows heavily from Saika Totsuka, a character from the light novel series My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, as I Expected/My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU.
- Jakito is pronounced like "taquito".
