James is the main antagonist of the 2011 coming of age comedy film The Inbetweeners Movie, the first installment in the 2011-2014 Inbetweeners film duology. He is Carli D'Amato's club rep and new love interest who is in actuality a sadistic bully that takes great delight in tormenting those around him, in particular Carli's ex, Simon, the deuteragonist of the movie.
He was portrayed by Theo James, who also played Hector in Netflix's Castlevania, Cameron Sullivan in The White Lotus and Bastion in X-Men '97.
History[]
He is a rich kid with lots of swaggers also arrogance and he is dating Carli who is another rich girl. James first knocks down Simon when he is going to talk to Carli and James almost runs down Simon with his quad bike. Later on, James continues to pick on Simon through the movie. James makes Simon pawn all his clothes to him so he can be given money but James deliberately leaves the money and takes his clothes.
Later James and his friends laugh at what Jay's wearing and make him cry, but some of his jokes didn't make his friends laugh. James also threw beer at a girl to have a laugh. James also laughs about Jay's girlfriend Jane, because she's fat. So in retaliation, Jay gives James a twenty-pound note he was hiding in his rectum that James then uses to snort drugs with, but it leaves bits of Jay's feces on his nostrils that he does not notice. The girls he is with then leave in disgust, and later he tries to talk to some other girls on the boat party who also walk away after seeing him, he continues to be oblivious to what is on his nose after this.
