Storylines[]
Lord James Harwood was the leader of the Raven Society until he was defeated by Alfred Pennyworth and arrested by the British Government. He was tortured into admitting he was the leader of the Raven Society before he was sent to the barber and had his nose and toes chopped off before being dumped in the middle of nowhere. He lost his memory and became a homeless beggar, who was treated like a pet by other homeless men.
Harwood was saved by his loyal enforcer Bet Sykes, and her sister Peggy. They cleaned him up and brought him to the home of the Spicers. Harwood denied his identity, so Peggy suggested they call him Ginger. The Spicers helped fit Harwood for shoes that he could walk in without toes, and made him a fake nose. While watching TV, Harwood saw the Prime Minister and remembered his identity.
Harwood gets dressed and is ready to leave. Bet advises he should regain his strength, but Harwood says he is fine before falling over. He thanks Bet for her help and friendship just as Peggy and Mr. Spicer return from shopping. Peggy says they will miss him, and Hardwood asks them if they will come to London with him since he has a battle ahead and needs friends he can rely on and love. Peggy is unsure, but Bet says they will go.
Harwood and Peggy stop by the headquarters and meet with Francine Gaunt, who has assumed command in Harwood’s abence. Francine relinquished command back to Harwood, and to help Bet out, Harwood found out who had murdered Esme. Harwood was painting Peggy’s nails when Bet came in and wanted hers done next. Harwood then told Bet what he had found out. After going home and reconnecting with his wife, Harwood rallied the other members with an inspiring speech.
Harwood had Bet and Peggy kidnap the queen and became the New Prime Minister. He used his new position to have his enemies arrested and hung, including the leader of the No Name League. He also murdered her wife and her butler. Unfortunately, his reign was short lived when the queen was rescued. Harwood and Francine were arrested and imprisoned along with Bet and Peggy. Harwood apologized to accomplices and assured them he had a back up plan. This plan involves using a radical follower, who just so happened to be Alfred’s father, to suicide bomb a mansion where the country’s leaders were dining. Alfred rescued the queen, but everyone was presumably killed.
