I had forgiven everything... Until I heard they knew about the weapon... Until then! That's why this country needs to be erased!
~ Agent Aguire revealing his true nature to Bad Company.

James Wyatt, aka Agent Aguire, is the tertiary of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. He appear to be the supporting character, but later, he is revealed to be an ally of Arkady Kirilenko.

Overview

Early life

James Wyatt was the son of Thomas Wyatt. Sometime at the period of World War II, when his father was most likely dead in the War, he finally ended up joining the Special Activities Division, but his role is unclear.

Events of Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Bravo-Two Charlie is sent by General Braidwood to Bolivia to draw out Aguire, who is seemingly aware of much subjects of the WMD the Russians were attempting to obtain. When subdued, a Russian soldier uses him as a human shield when faced up by Bad Company, however, Preston Marlowe saves Aguire by shooting a Russian soldier. After showing that all his intel had been taken by the Russians, Aguire sends Bad Company to a satellite crash site and pick up the data server filled with Aguire's intel. After getting intel, Aguire gets Bad Company to find Arkady Kirilenko's hideout in Argentina.

Although Kirilenko flee, B-Company discover a ship wreck for the Sangre del Toro, and thanks to Aguire's help, they find a key piece of the Scalar Weapon, the cylinder.

Betrayal and death

Preston and the team carry and give it back to Aguire, although they then realize that he has betrayed them and gave the weapon to Kirilenko. Sweetwater prove he had found out Aguire's connection to Thomas Wyatt, his father, who was sent on a suicide mission in the Pacific to try the power of the scalar weapon constructed by the Japanese. Aguire wanted to avenge on the U.S. by using his father as pawn, and to have him killed, yet Kirilenko then betrays Aguire, shooting him in the groin and killing him, as Aguire was not useful anymore.
