Jane Elizabeth Arkensaw, better known as Jane the Killer or Jane Everlasting, is the main antagonist in the "Jeff the Killer" Creepypasta series/spin-offs. She appears most famously as the titular main protagonist in both versions of her own story and the titular main antagonist in "Jeff the Killer Vs. Jane the Killer".
Appearance
Before her disfigurement, Jane had fair skin and long brown hair, as well as green eyes. She was often described as a "plain" girl. After being burned alive she had mostly chalk white skin aside from her face, which was badly scorched and leathery in texture, she also had most of her hair singed off and a Glasgow smile carved into her face courtesy of Jeff.
Upon adopting her new life, she started wearing a pale expressionless mask with laced black eyes and black lips, as well as a long curly jet black wig (both “gifts” from Jeff). She also was mostly seen wearing dark dresses in varying styles.
Personality
Before her transformation Jane was a sweet girl who put the value of others before herself, she despised Randy and his stooges as she called them, because they were cowards who bullied and attacked those that were weaker than they are.
She loved her family and friends, even though they constantly annoyed her. She was terrified of Jeff after his transformation, but when he essentially ruined her life she became withdrawn and possibly had PTSD, as well seeing everything in grey, which she assumes is the price to pay for losing her innocence.
Likewise, she has a large vendetta against Jeff and wants to murder him for herself. Not only that, but she says that his scream is like music to hear, and she will make him scream like he did when he was set on fire that day at the birthday party, claiming that killing him will be the only thing in the world that will give her joy.
Biography
Jane was in her teens when Jeff arrived in her neighbourhood, moving to a house across the street, she didn't think much about Jeff, but she believed that he and his brother Liu were both good people.
One day, when Jane was late for school, she looked out the window to see Jeff and Liu sitting at a bus stop, confronted by thugs from their school Randy, Troy and Keith, who would threaten the children with knives to give them your money, due to a "toll" that they would always ask. To Jane's surprise, Jeff did not graciously take Randy's attitude and fought the 3 thugs, incapacitating them while leaving unscathed. When Jane went to school, she had Jeff in her final period, there she noticed that Jeff was acting a little sadistic with a perverse joy on his face, Jane took note of this and decided to stay away from Jeff.
In the morning, Jane saw the police go to Jeff's house, knowing they had caught him. However, she was surprised to see Liu being taken by the police and was even more surprised to see Jeff leaving the house, begging Liu to tell the police that it was he who attacked the three thugs. Jane saw Jeff helplessly sitting on the pavement crying after the police took his brother for a false belief.
As the days went by, false rumours spread around Liu's school being the attacker against Randy and his friends, although happy to see that the trio would have to be absent from school due to his injuries, she still felt bad for Jeff, who was remarkably depressed by the fact that his brother was to blame for something he did. Jane decided to leave Jeff an anonymous note on his school desk to inform him that she has someone who will testify at Liu's trial as a witness to the event.
On Saturday of that week, Jane was home alone doing homework, her neighbours were celebrating a birthday party, so when the noise started to sound louder, she decided to get up and close her window, but in doing so, she noticed Jeff in the backyard playing with the children and remarkably happy, Jane laughed to see him. However, his mood was short-lived when he saw Randy, Troy, and Keith jump over the fence on their skateboards and approached Jeff with anger in his eyes. She watched helplessly as Randy began to brutally attack Jeff and saw Troy and Keith hold the guests at gunpoint. With no other choice, Jane dialed 911. While talking to the operator, she heard shots and then saw fire exploding through the window. Abandoning the 911 call, Jane picked up a fire extinguisher and ran to the house next door.
Jane woke up in a hospital room and a nurse informed her that she had been brought along with several children, but does not tell her about her condition. Jane's parents enter the room, and she tells them what she witnessed and the previous events that led to that. Jeff's parents, Margaret and Peter, enter the room, and thank Jane for trying to save Jeff's life, Jane informs them of what she saw Jeff do before the events occurred and others to testify in court that Liu didn't attack anyone, but she is relieved to find that Liu is being released after party witnesses heard Randy confess. Margaret then offers Jane for dinner the day Jeff leaves the hospital.
After two days, Jane is discharged from the hospital, upon returning to school, Jane had earned a reputation for her actions and was approached by many students.
One day, Jeff captured Jane and killed her parents and her friends, as well as Jeff's own family. Jane was later burnt alive by Jeff, as well her house. Jane survived, but was severely deformed. She woke up at the hospital and found a gift from Jeff, it contained a wigged white mask, black dress and a knife. As she wore it, she swore vengeance and to seek out and kill Jeff for what he did.
There are different timelines as to what happened next, but in "Jane the Killer: the Real Story part 2", she faces off against Jeff for the last time, with the souls of her and Jeff's families by her side, and Jeff having the souls of his other victims by his side. The two fought, with the spirits aiding Jane and allowing her to overpower Jeff, with her finishing him off by throwing him into hell. He screams the same way he did at the birthday party before descending into hell. Jane then regains her original appearance before becoming disfigured and goes on to marry a man and have children with him, leaving her life as a killer behind her. However, it should be noted that the canonicity of this is debatable, as there are conflicting events between her and her heroic counterpart, Jane Richardson, and since neither Arkensaw nor Richardson have any canonical connection to Jeff and are entirely fan-made, these events are up to interpretation.
Family
- Gregory Arkensaw † - Father
- Isabelle Arkensaw † - Mother
Powers and Abilities:
- High-Level Intelligence: Even before the supernatural became a part of her life, Jane was evidently a clever girl and dedicated to her studies, apparently getting very few bad grades in her school subjects.
- Psychological Manipulation, Charisma and Seduction: A few factors that Jane constantly uses in favour of her goal. She is excellent in terms of charisma, having previously been known as a nice, caring girl. After being mentally broken by Jeff, she still seems to retain a charismatic side, but now only uses it for manipulation and underhand purposes. On the other hand, she also uses her own bodily beauty to try to seduce individuals in order to get what she wants.
- Tracking Expertise and Enhanced Stealth: Intensively pursuing her goal of killing Jeff, Jane learnt how to stalk and hunt people without even being seen or noticed. Combined with her intelligence and having her sanity in a considerable better state in contrast to her archenemy, her steps have become methodical and seemingly much better than the normally impulsive Jeff the Killer.
- Unarmed Combat Mastery: It's very likely that she has trained intensively to get to the level of her archenemy. In view of this, Jane is very skilful in a fight that only involves fists, being able to overcome several individuals, whether they are armed or not.
- Knifemanship: Jane is extremely skilful with her kitchen knife, her common weapon of choice. She makes an extensive use of it in combat as if it were something like a sword.
- Peak-Human Conditioning: Jane is evidently much stronger, more agile, faster and more durable than a normal human being. In some variations, she even manages to go toe-to-toe normally and without struggling with Jeff the Killer, who is infamous for his supernatural strength; given that he is able to overcome the strength of opponents even taller than him, and even at the height of his sanity he had punched the heart out of one of his bullies so hard that it stopped and right after that he had ripped a metal towel rack out of the wall.

Trivia
- Jane Arkensaw isn't actually the original version of Jane the Killer and wasn't even an official character previously having been created without permission from Jane the Killer's creator FearOfTheBlackWolf, only being retroactively accepted by the latter who made her a canon character later on, specifying that the two versions apparently don't get along with each other. The original Jane the Killer is named Jane Todd Richardson who unlike Arkensaw isn't actually a villain at all although still an anti-hero, the only things these characters share in common is their given aliases, colour scheme, some appearance similarities and the fact that they both hate Jeff and are out to kill him.
- Oddly enough, however, Jane Arkensaw appears to be the more popular and well-known incarnation out of the two in spite of Richardson predating her.
- Jane is one of the most sympathetic of all the Creepypasta villains due to her tragic backstory and understandable motives.
- Several fan arts depict Jane as being in love with Jeff and having sexual interactions with him. This is ironic, due to her deep hatred for him.
- She, alongside Masky and The Smiling Man, is one of the few Creepypasta villains who isn't a murderous psychopath or supernatural creature since her only real goal is to kill Jeff.
- Ironically, despite her alias, Jane hasn't murdered anybody.
- At least, Jane doesn't kill anyone intentionally, she only kills those who help Jeff or try to kill her, so she reacts appropriately in self-defence. (Born September 1, 1985)
