Jason is a fictional character and major antagonist of the British soap opera Emmerdale, serving as a major antagonist in 2017.
He is portrayed by, Samuel Edward-Cook.
Biography[]
Jason first appears as the fellow prisoner of, Aaron Dingle. He gets the latter onto drugs and later discovers he's the son of Gordon Livesy. Jason tortures Aaron, much to his enjoyment. Beating him up, dishing out homophobic jokes. Aaron is later released, but soon comes to realise Jason has been released too. Jason visits Aaron's home. He teases the latter about his sexuality. Aaron punches Jason, Jason punches Aaron and knocks him to the ground. Aaron later tries to escape and Jason strikes him again before being confronted by Cain Dingle. Jason leaves after the confrontation deescalates.
Later down the line Jason flirts with Victoria Sugden, who is later informed about Jason. Jason proceeds to taunt Aaron and Adam Barton, who is up to fighting Jason.
Jason is a regular at the local boxing gym and both Adam and Aaron bump into him again. Jason beats up his sparring partner and calls for Aaron to fight him. Aaron declines and leaves the gym, but Adam stays behind. Adam confronts Jason, he challenges him to a fight. Adam throws two punches, with Jason evading both with ease. Jason punches Adam in the gut and finishes with a punch to the face. Jason defeats Adam, leaving him bloody and struggling to stand on his feet, fully underestimating Jason's superiority in skill. Aaron later sees Adam, cut and bruised. He connects the dots and realises it was Jason that beat up Adam.
Aaron confronts Jason in the gym, grabbing him. However, Jason presents his skill once more and throws Aaron into a punching bag. The two prepare to fight, before Victoria, Robert and Adam step in to stop them. Jason challenges Aaron to a boxing match. Robert refuses to accept Aaron's decision and tries to pay Jason off. Jason agrees to meet Robert for his money. However, Jason takes the money and insists the fight will still happen. He threatens Robert in the process, before leaving.
Aaron and Jason face off in the ring. Jason punches Aaron, but Aaron doesn't respond. He taunts Jason, calling him out for being a bully. Jason then drops Aaron with a punch to the gut. Aaron leaves, losing the fight but with his head held high. Jason, who is drunk confronts Aaron at his house. He jokes about Aaron's father, Adam jumps in Jason gets the better of him again. The latter leaves, Jason enters the flat, before Aaron throws him out. Cain then spots Jason attempting to break Aaron's window. Cain punches Jason and beats him up. The next day, Jason is found by Aaron. The two have a man-to-man conversation and both let things go. Jason leaves with a smile and gets into a cab.
