Jason Malone is the main protagonist of the Gameloft 2013 mobile game Gangstar Vegas.
He is a former gang member who, after the death of his brother, moved to Las Vegas where he became a business partner of crime boss Frank Veliano, but after failing to fulfill a bet, the mobster pursued him to kill him, forcing him to ally himself with Vera. Montello and Karen Olsen to dethrone Frank from power in Las Vegas.
Biography[]
Jason ran a gang with his brother in Boston; But the owner of a liquor store shot his brother, leaving him on the brink of death, so the former gave his soul to the devil in exchange for his survival. Even so, shortly after one of its members sold it and finally caused the death of his brother.
To avoid the same fate, Jason leaves Boston and travels to Las Vegas to dedicate himself to professional MMA fights. There he meets mafia boss Frank Veliano, with whom he begins a business relationship.
Gangstar Vegas[]
Jason still works with the important gangster and "owner" of the city of Las Vegas, Frank Veliano. Shortly before an important fight against Pietro Holston, he shows him a traitor, and he executes him to show him what happens to people who betray him, Jason should be defeated in the fourth round by K.O, giving the victory to his opponent, but Holston allows himself to be lost in the third round, giving the victory to Jason. After winning, Jason flees the casino and is pursued by Frank's gang. That's when he calls Vera Montello, an associate of Paul O'Riley, Jason's cousin, and asks for her help, Frank's gang catches up with him and overturns his car, but just when Frank's goon is going to finish him off, Karen arrives and saves him. After some missions they meet E-Man, a Las Vegas runner and drug dealer who becomes an important ally for him.
After a few assignments from Vera, Jason and Karen take on the task of robbing one of Frank's casinos, a robbery of which they are successful, for which Vera holds a party at her club in honor of the two, however Frank He arrives with his thugs ready to kill Jason, ending in a shootout where Karen is wounded and after she and Vera escape, Jason is knocked out and captured by Frank who locks him in a cage, forcing him to fight against several men, Jason leaves. unharmed and is forced to work for Frank but secretly Jason contacts Karen and she tells him that he will plan to find out Frank's weakness to finish him off.
After doing several missions for Frank, Jason meets Reverend Winston Goodman, Frank's partner who was running for mayor so Frank can obtain immunity from the police and he also meets Benny, Frank's right hand man who would become his friend. Later, after attacking the camp of a rival gang of Frank, Jason discovers that Frank has kidnapped Karen and Frank orders him to contact Vera to give him the club or else he is going to kill Karen.
Later Jason calls Vera and tells her the situation and with the help of E-Man, Jason manages to steal army tracking devices and manages to locate Karen who was locked in one of Frank's casinos and with the help of Vera and E-Man They manage to save Karen while being chased by Frank's thugs and in that Vera sacrifices herself so that Jason and the others can escape.
Devastated by Vera's death, Jason and Karen manage to recover the club and with the help of Benny whom Jason convinced to help them, they begin to destroy several of Frank's properties and eliminate several of his men until Frank, fed up, puts a price on the Jason's head and orders Benny to be killed upon learning of his betrayal. After saving Benny, Jason manages to reach Reverend Goodman and threatens to expose his illegal activities in exchange for exposing Frank as the criminal he is.
The reverend agrees and exposes Frank by having the police confiscate his properties and casinos, making him try to flee Las Vegas by helicopter with a million-dollar suitcase from his safe. Jason, along with Karen and Benny, eliminate the last ones. thugs and Jason catches up with Frank in his tower having a fist fight where in the end Jason sets Frank on fire with a lighter causing the mobster to fall to his death while Jason parachutes off the tower and lands in the car of Karen escaping as what's left of Frank's money falls through the air.
Devil's due[]
At some point after agreeing to work for Frank, Jason is contacted by a familiar voice who tells him to meet at the casino. Once there, Jason encounters none other than the devil who reminds him of his debt to Frank. Jason and the death of his brother, after escaping from the casino while the devil set a trap for him, Jason is contacted and the devil reveals to him that to pay his debt he must hunt down several people who made a deal with him and bring them their souls, Only then will the debt be paid, after confronting the 3 individuals who made a pact with the devil, he finally pays off Jason's debt, leaving him in peace once and for all.
Classified missions[]
Jason is contacted by E-Man who has seen strange things, after a confrontation with a rival gang, E-Man and Jason follow some men in suits, they follow them to a military base and discover some aliens, their leader named Steve says that the agents confiscated his ship and now he is looking to return home.
After putting together a plan, Jason, E-Man and the aliens enter the agents' base, eliminating everyone and reaching Steve's ship. After rising to nothing, he reveals his evil intentions as he seeks to dominate. the earth, Jason then escapes with E-Man and confronts the alien ship where after a tough confrontation he manages to divert the ship, causing Steve and his aliens to withdraw from the earth, saving Las Vegas.
