Jason Schmidt is an antagonist in the Amazon Prime original series Hunters, appearing in the episode "The Great Ole Nazi Cookout of '77". He is a plant manager at Schidler Corp involved in the plot to establish a Fourth Reich in the United States.
He was portrayed by Ben Cole.
Biography[]
Schmidt is an American working for Schidler Corp, a food conglomerate and front company for The Colonel's plot to establish a Fourth Reich in the United States. Schmidt is the plant manager of the main Schidler Corp factory in New Jersey, which is the epicentre of Katarina Löw's plan to distribute Oskar Hauptman's Solution throughout the United States in corn syrup supplies in order to wipe out the minority population of America. Schmidt's factory is where the Solution is brought after being shipped into the United States before being infused into corn syrup supplies and sent to supermarkets all over the country.
Hunters[]
Schmidt is kidnapped by Meyer Offerman's Hunters after they discover the corn syrup plot. Schmidt is interrogated by Lonny Flash and Sister Harriet, who ask him about the location and distribution routes of the Solution. Schmidt refuses to talk until Harriet sets his crotch on fire with a blowtorch, at which point he confesses that the Solution is to be distributed at 8:00 pm that night.
Lonny goes to the Schidler plant in disguise as Schmidt while the real Schmidt is kept tied up in Meyer's van outside. Schmidt remains in the car while Lonny and Jonah Heidelbaum infiltrate the plant and destroy the Solution before Meyer executes Schmidt and leaves to apprehend the Colonel.
