Jason Voorhees is the secondary antagonist of the of the 2016 attraction, Halloween Horror Nights: Freddy vs. Jason, in Universal Orlando. The attraction itself is a loose adaptation of the 2003 crossover film, Freddy vs. Jason, in which Freddy Krueger brings Jason back to life so he may wreck havoc in order to bring himself to life. However, when Jason takes up too many kills for himself, Freddy decides to kill him.
History[]
Backstory[]
Jason's backstory doesn't seem to be different from that of his film counterpart's, being that he was a young, deformed boy who drowned in Camp Crystal Lake because of his counselors' carelessness. However, one notable exception is Freddy Krueger tormented Jason in his dreams as a young boy.
Halloween Horror Nights: Freddy vs. Jason[]
Like the original film, Freddy Krueger shape shifts into Jason's mother, Pamela Voorhees, and brings Jason back to life so he may wreak havoc in Crystal Lake and Elm Street, which would lead people to thinking that the murders where Freddy's doing, increasing his power and bringing him back to life as well. As we enter the Crystal Lake part of the maze, we see a trail of the dead bodies of Jason's victims tied to a cabin. Upon entering said cabin, we see even more bodies hanging from the ceiling. Jason comes out through the corners to terrify us. As we get farther into the maze, Freddy decides to kill Jason when the latter starts taking victims for himself. Depending on when we enter the attraction, either Jason or Freddy will decapitate the other, with their headless body still moving around in Hell, while attempting to attack us by the end of the maze. Implying that the battle has not finished yet.
