Jasper Alvarez is a minor antagonist in the Filipino Action Drama TV Series known as Black Rider.
He was the son of Nolan Alvarez, a former loyal partner of Edgardo Magallanes, who’s their boss in the criminal syndicate where they worked at known as Golden Scorpion. He is also one of Calvin Magallanes’ friends who helps him in their criminal businesses in the syndicate but secretly his rival, as he proves himself that he is far better than him to be a new leader of the Golden Scorpion.
He was portrayed by Joem Bascon. who also played Leon in Asawa ng Asawa Ko (internationally known as My Husband's Wife in English).
Biography[]
He was a member of the Golden Scorpion, and son of Nolan Alvarez, the loyal partner of Edgardo Magallanes, the leader of the Golden Scorpion. He befriended Calvin Magallanes, as he enters Golden Scorpion, but on the other hand, he secretly rivaled Calvin, as he wants to prove himself better than him being more fit as a new leader of the Golden Scorpion.
One night, he helped Calvin Magallanes and the gang, ambush Elias Guerrero and his family. During the incident, as Elias resisted fighting Calvin and his goons, he accidentally unmasked him causing Elias saw his face and remembers him as one of the assailants in killling the Guerrero family. Months later, Elias saw him in a bar after dropping by a customer. As Elias disguises himself as Black Rider to exact his revenge upon seeing him in the bar, Elias begins to shoot him with his goons but managed to escape until they reached into a ship graveyard, where his hideout is. Black Rider then dueled his men, and eventually cornered him where Elias seriously beat him to extract his vengeance to his family’s deaths. He then manages to escape from Black Rider’s hands and attempted to kill him, only to be taken down, causing to stab himself in a sharp beam resulting his death.
Personality[]
He is described to be overconfident and egotistical individual as it was seen that he proclaims himself with his father that he is way better than Calvin Magallanes and states to himself that he is more fit than Calvin to be the next leader of the Golden Scorpion. With his egotistical mindset, this makes him to be an ambitious yet reckless individual.
