Jasper Williams is the main protagonist of the Octopie animated web series The Stockholms. He is a bank robber who is holding three people, hostage for over five months. Since then, his hostages have developed Stockholm syndrome for him and now see him as a paternal figure.
He is voiced by Geoff Galneda.
Biography[]
In the theme song, Jasper Williams walked into a bank one day and pulled his gun out to rob it. Charlene, who was working as the banker at that time was tied to a chair. Meanwhile, two unattended children, Marley and Yong Sun were both held hostage as well. A ton of cops waited outside, with Ned being the negotiator, trying to get Jasper to let the hostages go so they could arrest him but Jasper refused to give in. During the time Jasper held these people hostage, they eventually developed Stockholm syndrome for him and Charlene started to see him as a husband, while Marley and Yong Sun saw him as a father.
In "Dinnertime Crime", Jasper served his hostages dinner, which was just a bunch of mints and lollipops from the waiting room, ink to drink, and mostly a plate full of dollar bills, which people were expected to eat. After Marley and Yong Sun complained about the fact that they've been eating dollars for months, and Charlene convinced him to give them something better, Jasper thought it was time to give them some real food. Jasper used the phone to negotiate with Ned and order a pizza for dinner. When the pizza man got there, Ned tried to get Jasper to give him some hostages but Jasper caught on to the trick and instead held the pizza delivery boy hostage too.
